I heard that. I wondered if the wheel started coming from the factory, or if the recall wheel went on at the dealership.

Yes, I believe 67 only. They came from the factory for a period of time in 67, until the discovered the problem. Then the factory used the newer syle wheel. The cars on the market with the Finger Cutter, got recall notices. Many of them were replace by the dealers. Not sure what the dealer was supposed to do with the wheels back then. But it seems like there are still some around. Myth Or Not ??... LOL

My Mom has been caring 24/7 for my stepdad, his kids and grandsons from out of town have been helping, leaving today. He has been in a deep sleep the last couple days. Yesterday Mom happened to see our oldest family friend, whose words were "God's timing is always perfect." Early this morning, Mom noticed it was very, very quiet, and she knew "Poppa" had passed on. They married in 1971 so this will be a big change, I consider with awe how a mother confronts every stage in life, and doesn't complain.

Thank you, he was a happy man in life, and very good to my Mom and to my sister and me.

Cracker Barrel, always look forward to stopping on road trips. So many tasty things on their menu, you wish you had another stomach. So cheap too. Great choice for a birthday breakfast!

Thank you for the kind words and prayers. Mom called me just now and she sounds good. Some of the kids are staying on in the guest quarters they have there on site, that is good of them remain there a little while and support my Mom.

Sympathies and prayers my friend
 
Exhaust manifold is kicking my ***. Right side has less room to work than left. Drop starter, maybe ac compressor and possibly motor mount bracket off engine.
3 hours and 7/10 fasteners removed. Last 3 are the mission impossible ones.
Battery cable lug broke,barely touched it.
 
So as you may know, I get a rock in my windshield in nashville, on the way home. Just talked to insurance, 500.00 Deductible on glass!!!!!!! Get the frick put of here!!!!
