First!
I can't sleep
Just woke up by the sound of gushing water the discharge pipe on the sup pump came loose and half the small pond is/was in the basement. Glad I heard it! All good now not a great way to wake up.
Been there done that. Since i re-routed my gutter downspouts i have little water coming in.
I was doing trim in the house,
And forgot the compressor was plugged in and in my bedroom.
At 2:00 am it started. Imagine the little screaming airless compressor waking you from a dead sleep...
I will be beat today two days in a row something woke me around two. I go in the basement and find 6" of water. The discharge pipe that goes into the small pond came off the rubber boot above the check valve so it was a siphon into the basement. The pond is that full! Kind of glad right now that has a dirt floor! Definitely getting a second check valve in there in a different spot up higher!
So what are you guys up to today? I am prob going to clean and rearrange the shop, needs it badly.

Has to be something with the moon. My son woke about 10 till 3 this morning screaming and hasn't been back to bed yet
For me it was the dog waking me that something was going on, Harley is good with that.

Start truck. Shift to 1st gear. No go. Jumps out. Try second. Nada. Third? Ahh,there we go. Move truck a couple feet, turn steering wheel. Stiff. Power steering pooched too. So i have to drive this pos extended cab diesel dually onto my hoist in 3rd gear with no power steering...piss me right off.
Check front end? You bet your *** im not gonna. I dont need to. It fooked.
