Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning, I think anyone can be happy to see, my sis took this yesterday, Mom and an important family friend.

Nice they smiling for the camera or is it the lobster?

I am sure partly for the lobster, Barbara was born and raised in Sarasota, and I ate my share of seafood at her house next door while I was growing up, and fished from their boat so many times.
My Mom and Dad came to FL as "Yankees" but got into sailing and that community took them in...my Dad got the nickname "Cap'n Pea-Turk," he never knew what that meant. Barbara's husband was the best friend of all the neighborhood boys but he died suddenly in 1970 and Barbara couldn't set foot on a boat after that.

She remarried a great guy, they travelled all over, she moved into the community where my Mom lives so they are neighbors again after all these years.

Right before I left for Carlisle, as some know, I lost my phone. AND all the pictures of my poor 69 after the accident/wreck. I cannot retrieve them, so no pictures of the carnage....Just tried unsuccessfully for an hour off the "cloud" :BangHead::(

boo oh well. would have just made me cry anyway

Your Dart is a beautiful thing. There's a 66 Dart convert in town painted burnt orange. It is a cool color for sure. One of my choices for my 66 if I were to paint it.
It has a beautiful metal flake that does not come out in photos.

it does look beautiful. did they have to repaint the entire thing?
No paint was needed.....All damage was underneath... I disassembled it myself and was VERY careful not to mess up the paint. In fact, I did 90 percent of the work on it myself...Only to get it done this decade...They are very busy.

nice!!

It suffered a few chips in the paint, but not enough IMO to warrant a new paint job. Of course the insurance company paid for a complete paint job, that was the real reason for the total loss, the paint was estimated at 12 grand!

dang! no wonder you had the coin for Carlisle lol

Our 55 Chevy is Chrysler White/Durango Cooper which looks like brunt orange. You just don't see the color very often. (Tim I got a Chrysler color on my GM)

Cool thing on a bright sunny day you can see the color actually change lighter to darker and back as you drive.

Well, got the slobbering diesel outta my shop, made a nasty puddle under my hoist.

Next!
Ford Edge, strut bearings, all new front brakes and a rear sway bar link.
Right after coffee.

I bought a new 2007 Edge sel AWD and it had over 200K on it when I sold it with no problem in its life up till then. New brakes one time, regular maintenance, which was not small by any stretch. IMO a nice buy. And a ball joint that failed when it was still new, in warranty..

It seems if the engineers have a tough job of making things work, like belts, and being able to adjust/ install them, they just use a freakin belt like a rubber band, no adjustment possible! It did last a long time before I replaced it per scheduled maintenance.. But a PITA to do.

Well, getting all the material for my new deck install today, so I have to get my trailer out and hooked up....later all....

Total Lunar eclipse tonight . Unfortunately most of us are on the wrong side of the planet to see it :(. While out wandering around town this morning I saw a candidate for "Ugliest Valiant Ever Award". Unfortunately I was not able to get a photo. :rofl:It was far past the patina/rat rod look. Think 3 guys with a large supply of a controlled substance and a matching supply of varied colors of rattle cans . Just to add to the effect it was a more door. Good Morning
