I am a fisherman born. It is buried deep in my DNA. From the time I could first hold a fishing pole, I have been throwing a line in the water every chance I get.
This is a 32 lb Chinnook Salmon that I caught on 10 lbs test line on a 9’ fly rod using a #6 trout hook and a single rubber salmon egg.
It didn’t stand a chance...

Pretty much the same for me. Been fishing all my life. But mostly in the waters 1000 feet or less from my door. This river connects to the channel where i spent my summers as a kid.
Was slack today but i still went fishing.
Checked my blood pressure, its the lowest i have seen in the last several weeks. Since i started monitoring it.
Gonna tell my doctor. She may prescribe more fishing....
