And the 5.7 would be a downgrade in HP and torque from what I have now. BUT a more modern Transmission might be in order...I say keep your beast a beast. If you want a daily to 'modernize', one can be found cheaply.

I think thats a good car. I like that it is a post car. Would make a very mean street stomper... If I didnt have my 65 Belve, I'd be all over it...
almost?!Looks like I got me a belvedere..... almost
Did you see the thread on the belvederealmost?!
Here is one I love..Crap cant locate it. Basically says "employees who are pregnant" get preferred treatment. HTF is this not prejudicial against non pregnant employees, like MEN!!!! Like longer breaks, shorter work hours, which the non pregnant bunch, again, MEN have to pick up the slack. I call totalso my instructor for one of my MBA classes just emailed us this:
"New York lawmakers have approved a bill that would give employees in the Empire State three months paid bereavement leave to mourn the loss of a loved one, how do you think this will affect businesses, good idea or bad idea?"
My first thought is who the hell comes up with these "laws"
Sure is tempting. I have a line on a inexpensive 5.7, running engine I am considering.New 6.4 Hemi crate motor
Here ya go
I was thinking of that Myself, almost called the guy. So EASY for engine swaps in a "B" body compared to an "A".Would be a whole lotta fun in that sleeper 2 door sedan project everybody wants to do
nope?Did you see the thread on the belvedere
520 HP and 535 torque, on a engine DYNO, when built. Might be different now, different DYNO etc.whats in it now?
nevermind, found it. Looks like a good deal!Did you see the thread on the belvedere
I meant transmission wise520 HP and 535 torque, on a engine DYNO, when built. Might be different now, different DYNO etc.
Lots of parts needed to make that work. Linkage...Still I agree, not common...
My '69? A 727 with 3500 stall and a manual reverse pattern valve body.I meant transmission wise
I would sell it, Still in the "maybe" stage.....BUT got engine lined up....<~~~~ Dibs on Tim's SB when he puts the Gen III in the Dart
I lost the link to the thread...Does that Belvedere Rani is looking at have a Rear Axel? What one?
[FOR SALE] - 1967 Belvedere II lost the link to the thread...

then you would just need the 08 and older ECMs. theres a spacer plate sold by mancini for 125 to set the trans back 1/4 inch or so for the extended flexplate but otherwise, its a dead straight bolt up. Depending on how much you can source a running motor for, you could do it cheap enough that I bet selling that 500 hp monster would offset 90% of the cost.My '69?
