Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah very true. But this one they're talking about in terms of sheer number of acres burned as being the largest recorded.
Not entirely true. Do your own research and don’t let the Media do it for you. You might be surprised at what you actually find.

I just talked to a family from California who are in the area "suddenly", not exactly sure which fire but they have lived down there all their lives and have never seen conditions so bad in their area. The gal says she hasn't and can't go outside for 3 weeks, not evacuated, but watching closely. Must be a mess.

The Santiago California fire of 1889 was 470 sq miles...exceeding the current fire.

The Miramichi fire of 1825 was 10x that big.

That fire in Shasta County just broke the modern record we set with the Holiday Fire last year. My high school homie sent me a photo of the smoke from the fire in the Cleveland National Forest (Idylwild Ca.) invading his turf in the Mojave Desert. That I believe is the one with the idiot driving along the highway throwing fusees into the brush. They caught his sick ***.

I thought Mitch had that thing near done and he was just sending it to you for paint. Guess it needed a little more...

So, just outer metal left to do?
It's further along then those pics. I have to do the floor inside, but I didn't want to cut too much apart at one time. Rockers and front post are all in and finished out.

The A/C went out in the front half of our house this weekend... The kid's friend and his dad do HVAC and the kid came over to look at it.... :BangHead:

A mouse got in there and electricuted himself while blowing out the capacitor...

It's working now.... :D
