I’m going to send him an old fashioned typewriter for Christmas so he can push buttons all day long while making words...

I'm hoping to still make it. But my wife still can't get anyone to switch her days for Saturday. I'm her Uber with her not being able to drive so if she can't, I'm screwed out of going.

Its on an auto setting, so likely just the fan overnight.

Surprise...there are 10x the number of people living in those areas now. How could a fire that is the same magnitude of ones in the past not be declared “worst ever”?

It’s a financial loss declaration, not a fire magnitude declaration....the same thing happens with Hurricanes.

Yeah very true. But this one they're talking about in terms of sheer number of acres burned as being the largest recorded.
