Stop in for a cup of coffee

fentanyl is deadly. they caught a dude with over a pound of it here locally 2 weeks ago, said it was enough to wipe out the entire city of Columbus Ohio if it'd gotten in the water.

I don't understand why anyone would even want to start taking drugs like that. Just crazy!!!

Good morning. Random question, I ordered a new fuel-filler grommet for the Fury, not going to mess with it myself, but is it going to be a pain to install...have to undo the straps or anything?

Well, unfortunately it's that time again. Gotta get ready and head out.

Hope you all have a great day and keep em between the ditches!!!

No you shouldn't have to undo the straps.

The filler neck is behind the license plate just like a B body, iirc so the neck should have a little retainer bolt and come straight out.. pretty much has to be muscled out very straight or else it will fight you if it does not come out perfectly straight.

The hardest part is making sure the old grommet doesn't crumble back into the tank.

I didn't remember where the filler neck is on the B's but the early A's unscrew at the quarter panel and the trunk floor panel unscrews as well. I bet most seals can be replaced without pulling the tank. I wonder if Mopar still has them available at the parts counter. The repops aren't quite the right size and can leak.

Gives me a smile knowing that mr. Goldfish is taking care of that fury. A fury is such a fine car and needs to be taken care of. It's a shame so many furys were junked.

I miss my 70 but now I am re living my furious days with the 66 :)

I never owned a Fury but I had a 66 Chrysler Newport. It was a land barge but what a cruiser!

I had too on my charger, not sure on a Fury

I miss my ‘70 fury. was a good car. My dog’s name is Fury....

Annd its raining...
8:00 appt went well, did a scan and it was multiple cylinder misfire. Lots of km’s since last plug change and thermostat needs replacing too.
Her son is doing the work. Guess he’s finally starting to help out.

I got my grommet at local dealership, but that's been several years now. It has the wide flange like original- different than the aftermarket ones I have seen. I never tried to change it on the car. Maybe it COULD be done, but it took a bit of effort to get it in. Not sure which is more work, trying to get in a tight space or drop the tank... Sounds like it would be a lot easier to get to on the Fury though. Maybe just loosen straps a drop it down a little, but not have to disconnect and remove it.

Annd its raining...
Yep, same here. Was cloudy when I got up. Was going to work on deck rebuild project. Got there and realized I forgot my drill ( took home to charge batteris). Went back to get it(only 5 minutes away) Was starting to mist...By the time I got home it was a light, but soaking rain. Guess it will have to wait for another day. Told him maybe Sunday, but we are showing 60% chance for showers. :BangHead:

trying something different.using laptop for fabo instead of my phone.have to page back and take another look at the wheels Dave put his spin on.

Well yuck! Looking farther at the forecast...
They want scatter showers for almost every day for the next 2 weeks! That includes Monday - the Labor Day holiday. I am considering going to a show. Havent decided if I am showing the Duster. Just cause I don't know if I want to be stuck there for 6 hours. About 10 minutes from here in Jacobus. Its a car show and street fair. I think they tried to have them on separate days the last few years and from what I gather, it was a flop -getting progressively less and less people. So, they brought them back together this year. I was there several years ago, but they changed a lot. Not even sure where they put the cars now. The area they used before is all ball fields now, so don't think they want cars on those. Part of the reason they split it to 2 events for lack of space. Will be interesting to see where they put everything.

I use either, but it's a whole lot easier to type out a long post on the laptop. If posting pics I sometimes type on laptop and then go to the phone to add pics. It will actually show the text in reply box without posting.
