Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning Hops , I can't find the thread we was talking about yesterday, can you point the way (tools)
That thing is getting out of control. I was just starting a quick what you might want to work on your first old car thread, now has lifts, pickle forks, welders, etc. I JUST DONT GET PEOPLE!

Have a good trip TJ. Just found your build thread nice.

Well found what caused the front pass floor to rot out on the cuda, take a guess lesser of two evils.

I have a couple guesses. Window gasket, cowl area sealant let go.
Heater housing leaking.

At least it is a easy fix. Was sweating the cowl drains!

Hey Ray You tried, You really did.
Don't forget the 'you must be talking about what tools to carry for an emergency', and some of the other sidetracks....
I really do think that a fair number of folks simply don't read the posts.
They must see a few words or photos and then jump to conclusions.
By the time you close that thread it will be like that Cadillic Johnny Cash got direct from the factory... LOL

Kind of like that post I did about nothing got up to three or four pages actually I believe. Som people are cooler on line I guess like the song goes...

Sure better than having the sheet metal rusted out above...
I was worried about that hit the windows cowls with water, before I cut the floor out nada. Nice to have a old pressure tester. The WP has a weep also have to get a rebuild kit to keep it numbers I guess.

Can you get a rebuild kit for a pump? Didn't know that. I knew there's a couple of rebuilders who advertise.
You'll probably save time and trouble if not $ rebuilding it yourself. I had to go back to my local store 3 times to get a rebuilt that wasn't f-d up. Not a single one he brought in was good. He was not happy and embarressed all at the same time, and that's all his warehouse had. I then mail ordered a new Chrysler, I think it was avail under Mopar Performance. On the new engine I installed a Eddelbrock. It needed grinding to clear. What BS!

I want to keep this thing as original as possible. Just one of those cars. Hell I was looking at coded wires yesterday. WTF?

You can tell this car was never washed just ran and put away that is the reason for the rot it has in all the typical PA places.

One of the guys I did a distrib for hooked me up. He has a 65 and he came up for a bunch of parts from the Junker before I got this. They are shot in the Junker he had a spare set of fenders with them on it.

Whose sells WP rebuild kits? I've got a couple of cast iron ones for AMC and at least 2 aluminum SB mopars if I didn't toss them out.
Nope splash shields in the front fender. Just appliance paint they will be undercoated anyhow.
That's not too bad.
Funny - epoxy applicance and epoxy boat paints were what I used underneath on my car. Laying under the car painting - that was miserable. Good part was there was no undercoat to deal with. Cleaning wasn't fun but it was a ton bettter than if it had been coated - so I can't complain.

This is coated, most of it is flaking off to nice clean bare metal. That's a job for Stan!

Looks like nothing for me to add in any other threads I was trying to be helpful in.
Some horses insist on finding their own water. LOL
I think two of us managed to shut up jpar's narcist derail last night - now that's an accomplishment! :elmer:
About time I walk the dog. Temperatures are already creeping up. :(
