Yep, just caught up (but I did sleep in a bit. Gotta get my brain back on work schedule today.

I'll need a nap later. Up till midnight last night with an ebay bid that ended at 11:30. A little something for the Barracuda.
My auto bid with 20 seconds got it. Sure it pissed off the person leading the bid for the last two days. I could tell by the bids he wanted it.
Oh well that's how it goes.

Heck I'll tell you sitting there watching the clock tic down, deciding your max bid, placing the bid with seconds left, it's exciting.
Then you hit confirm and the bid chart bounces around....fun!!
When you win, its an hour to wind down.
Glad I don't do it to often.

Been a while since I actually bid on anything. Lately just do buy it now or offer. Many of the better things I have gotten deals on were sniper bids. Literally last second in some cases.

Yep I usually do the buy it now. I also sniper bid, wait until the last 20 seconds to enter and confirm. Never lost one yet.

This morning I got the two 67 steering wheels put back together. I'd sent them to be restored and one of the adapters re-chromed.
Between the two wheels, I took the best wheel, adapter, horn pad, and emblem to make my wheel. Its ready, and will put it on in the next day or two.
I packed the other wheel away, and will decide soon what to do with it. For now I'll hang onto it.

@dukeboy_318 the guy who restored my wheel led me to this shop to re-chrome the chrome horn adapter for my steering wheel. J & D Custom Plating
It was really pitted and didn't think they could do much. The price was very right so I thought what the heck. I got it back 10 days later and looks brand new. Very happy with the work.

I am back punctured the stupid plastic fuel line on the cobalt when I hit a Squirrel. Little bastard must have bit it as the last act of defiance!!!!! Limped it home just!

Talked to Rick at Larsons, Man they make a lot of panels for the early barracudas!

Well of course....the second one still looks great.
I asked the restoration guy, who's done several of these wheels, said the second wheel was still a lot nicer than most he seen.
