Heck I'll tell you sitting there watching the clock tic down, deciding your max bid, placing the bid with seconds left, it's exciting.
Then you hit confirm and the bid chart bounces around....fun!!
When you win, its an hour to wind down.
Glad I don't do it to often.
You should buy my 60 Vette Fuelie......

Well of course....the second one still looks great.
I asked the restoration guy, who's done several of these wheels, said the second wheel was still a lot nicer than most he seen.
sounds kinda anal. :realcrazy: I would have done the same thing. lol

is it possible to restore regular steering wheels? like the one in my polara?

I had mine done because they are so hard to find, one year only, and the price people pay for them.
A very nice restored one can bring $2000-2500.

Well, first i want to apologise to the drivers of alberta, i cant wrap my head around 120km/h. If y’all werent so speedy i’d be in the right lane so you woldnt have to go around. 120 is the slow lane, btw.
They all weave through traffic. Even the slow ones.

Just got back from the farmers market. A dozen eggs, 6 ears of corn, a cantelope, green beans, a acorn squash, 3 tomatoes ans 10 assorted hot peppers. $12! Eatin' good in the neighborhood!

started porch roof support repairs this morning. Most of the bottoms rusted away. Scavenged a couple pieces of stainless square tube when we were tearing things down at last job. perfect size. The double in pic is done, painted and ready to go back in. Have another like that and the 2 triples in corners to do yet.

Not a great day at work today.

The CEO informed me that the investors have decided that I am a “Protected Species” and while they may close the business down to the bare minimum over the next couple of months (Executive staff is already down to 1 day per week), I will remain full time with full benefits for the duration. They need me to give the sale of the company any value.

This means no severance package for me until there is nothing left but to turn out the lights. :BangHead:

What a PIA. Now I have to think about how far to let it go before I demand a retention package...or walk.

*sigh*

I'm thinking right now. Regardless of outcome, you'll land on your feet. May not be exactly what you want if it goes poorly, but it'll work out (well probably). And they may agree to the retention package. I'd sure do it. You seem quite miserable there. Make them pay, or be on your way...
