Stop in for a cup of coffee

Interesting it's not called a amp meter
prolly goes back to when people people spelled things as it sounded.
or maybe its an Americanism.
Ever notice the Brits have many extra letters and sylibuls in their words than are actuallly pronounced?
Its got to be their sense of humor, sorry humour. LOL

Back in the early 80s, I had a Direct Connection catalog. They had t shirts listed. The Dodge shirt said 'Aint just paint' and the Plymouth shirt said 'Theres a little bit of Hemi in every Plymouth'.. Anybody ever seen these or did I smoke too much weed back then?

im thinking of the load draw when the vehicle is charging vs not charging?
Simpler than that. Its the amps flowing out of the battery.

Putting it together, the ammeter shows current flowing into or out of the battery.

When it points to D the battery is discharging. Some load is drawing power, and curent is flowing to ground through the ammeter.

Hey guys, it’s Calendar time again so I want to gauge interest. Are folks still interested in a 2019 Coffee Club calendar?

I have 6 images so far that I can use and need more photos and/or ideas to round it out to 12.

Let me know your thoughts and I will set it up again if people want.

These are the images I have so far to use...

I'm in for a calendar....

Amps going to the battery??
Right. So lets go back to this.
The ammeter was showing battery charging.
Made sense because the battery was low. That was normal.
But..
When the headlights were turned on, it showed more charging!
Clearly that's not true.
The headlights somehow were wired to the battery, or the wire between the battery and the ammeter.
My first guess was a relay system was attached at the starter relay. But the photos didn't show that.

Then he turned on the heater, and accidently the windshield wipers, and the same thing happened.
Therefore the fusebox must also be wired between the battery and the ammeter.

fuse box between the battery and ammeter is bad

It's officially summer here now :realcrazy: 80+ all this week. Those 25mph gusts after dark last night were a little unusual :wtf:. I'm really looking forward to that winged sprint car show on the big asphalt track :D . Should be a nice sunny Sunday afternoon. I see in my future many fans in Daisy Dukes and cowboy boots . Must find those mini binoculars :BangHead:. Gooood Morning.

I hate light beer..
Even more I hate it when my beer lights up.
I think I have a pint sized glass around here with LEDs and a battery built into the bottom. After the 3rd adult beverage those lights are very distracting and it makes it difficult to have a conversation
