Saturday
Sunny and hot, with a high near 123. South wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Doesn't that look like fun?
Granted, that is the prediction for Scotty's Castle in Death Valley
Do I miss the Mojave Desert?
Naw, not so much

Baker's claim to fame, world's largest thermometer. Death Valley would be about 40 miles to the right

Good morning, hot and very sticky here these days....drove the Fury about 40 miles yesterday early while it was still comfortable. C-body Bob sent me some original wiper frames and I found some Trico refills, no more big ugly plastic wiper blades. The wipers don't park in the recessed area anymore, when you'd turn off the wipers there was a little extra move they'd do making them "disappear," but not a big deal, I am just glad to have the right wipers and glad that they work.
This thread may help: Wiper arms not parking

What's the difference between an oral and a rectal thermometer???

The taste...

Not hot at all today. My son is working up north, cold and raining. Said everything is like a pig pen.deep muck everywhere.
Got a few things done on el camino, should be going for inspection next week. Thats another one gone that i wont have to store.

That’s it. Im calling it. Day is done. Glued the weatherstrip back on to the doors. Im not doing an more. Let adhesive set.
Tires were rubbing frame in the back, so i got wheel spacers to correct that. Wheels he got were nice but not for this car. They were on a buick i think.

Interesting topic.

I've never lost one. Just get a new one when the old one expires..

I am here, at home, trying to social distance myself.......
I’m back to really thinking about cashing out my 401k, buying the highest point I can afford in Montana, log cabin and getting away from the stupid people

Went to the drag strip tonight. Joe's friend bought a Scamp drag car. It is a pretty car. A old school ladder bar car. It ran consistent for the prev. owner. Trying to get the line lock and the trans brake to work. Both are on the same circuit. It still ran good and hooked straight. A Edelbrock headed 440 with fenderwell headers. No idea what cam. 3000 stall converter, 727 with trans brake, Dana with a 4:10 I believe.
