Stop in for a cup of coffee

prob have a few hundred sets of dual points actually. Condensers are a ***** to find at a decent price. You have to remember some fail also so you have to account for that, the mopar tolerance is tight .25-.285mf

Wow, that is a small window, whoda thunk?

Mopar ones

There was a thread on one of the sites about them. Freaking scientists were on it had to run away fast!

I just got a superstock dual point in that uses the prestolight CDI. Has the short points which I have a few. They are really hard to find.

Very rare I get in a untouched Dual point. Tell you what I am so glad I have the prestolight parts book to identify what is in there. Needed that and also the service manual to get the specs for a 70 340 GSS Mr. norms car last week. That was a 100 point one also.

Snowing again and the cold isn't leaving for a couple days. I just ordered chains for my tractor, don't really want to try clearing the hill, so steep I probably won't be able to get back up. We maintain the road here, and we used to buy sand. This year they switched to ice melt, I liked the sand better!
I think sand is a little too fine, unless it's like black ice. Around here I think they are mostly using fine gravel. But mostly salt and more pretreat liquid than granular.

Speaking of water pumps.....The harder I try to get Airfare away from here, the more work I get in the shop, or people calling me. Had an 04 Acura MDX come in with starting issue. Found Alt was only making 10.5 vts. Tough place to get to, but changed it. Then loadtested the Battery after I charged it overnight. 775 amp batt , only 170 under load test. New battery. Wrap it all up and check fluids. No coolant in overflow tank, and radiator low. Fill it and fluid is running out behind the timing covers...WTF ??? Guy is already in for a bunch of $$. So I call him and break the bad new to him. So today Ill do a timing belt and water pump job on the V6. Might take until tomorrow to finish. Meanwhile another guy calls be about a rack and pinion in an 05 Camry. Had to turn him away. Im tryin to git outa here !!!!!

Mitch... it's tough to find anyone to do work ....and even more difficult to actually get them to do it. You'll stay as busy as you want

Well I’m making a single New Years resolution. I’m going back into the job market. This job I took in August just is too much total chaos for me. Which is saying a lot as I usually am the the master of chaos.
