Stop in for a cup of coffee

Guy came by and paid and picked up the John Deere. He stayed for an hour just talking.
Finally, he said he knew about my cars and asked if he could see them haha...sure.
Cheryl is down the street at an all-girls pool party. I went down for a safety check, and they were having a great time.
We have a club pool party and BBQ at 6 I guess I'm the DD tonight.

If anyone on here pays attention, you know I collect stamps. Thought this was pretty cool when it popped up on my local Marketplace ads, so I grabbed it. Original Post office box door made into a bank shaped like a big mailbox.

Inside of my new linen cabinet is done 2 coats of shellac, Outside will get one more coat of polyurethane. I could do it now, but think I want to sand again first. So that needs to wait till tomorrow. Wife mowed half the grass yesterday, so I just finished that. Growing so fast I could see the difference in height. Time to figure out what's for dinner. If I have any ambition after that, I might start tearing out the bathroom closet...

Just came back from the street rod show that is happening locally

LOTS of cars but it looks like it's going to rain

Took my minions to a car show. I will say this, there for a while Tri-5 Chevys were growing in me. But after seeing them in person and walking around them, nah, the body lines just are as good in real life as they look in 2D. Mainly that rear roof line at the quarter.

anyway. The sublime green 68 charger. That one is kind of a special connection. When I first got my 74 charger back in 2007, this old man driving a semi stopped by the farm, he’d known my grandfather for decades and was curious about the sudden arrival of the charger. He then took us for a ride to his place and showed us this very 68 charger.

See it’s a one owner car. The owner had it repainted years ago, to sublime. I wanna say the original color was either brown or black, can’t remember. Anyway, he passed away last year but his wife still brought it out in his memory.

I love the coronet with piece of 2x4 holding the hood up, that's a real car right there with nothing to hide. I always shy away cars with signage all over it, Yes we get it, that's why we are here... at a car show, so you don't have to be captain obvious with your signs LOL

Kegan B got that thing running and driving for the guy. Solid runner.

And now… for one of my favorite car guy movies, the Hollywood Knights

Is that the one with Heath ledger and he jousts for the girl Jocelyn or some **** like that ?
No no no.

this one has a young Fran Dreschler, young Michelle Phifer, young Tony Danza, and legendary custom car builder Tony Nancy before he died. Set in 1965, but it features awesome cars and awesome music and hilarious pranks

kind of a mix of Grease, American Graffiti, and American Pie.
Yes, there are boobies so viewer beware

Spent the day getting ready for one of the granddaughters and her family tomorrow,. Great grandchild number 3 is due in October around my birthday.
