Stop in for a cup of coffee

Taking off for a trip across the state in a hour or so. A 3.5 hour drive, all 4 lane. Not a bad trip. Set the cruise and enjoy the ride. I wish I could get through my wife's head that I don't like to drive at night. The start of cataracts and I see halos around every light. This is pretty close to what I see. This isn't normal? Uh oh

Especially in the rain at night. That's my freaking kryptonite on Metro interstates
I was skeptical about them but now I am sold. Mine don't dial down the brightness, but they do kill the glare for rain, fog and changing the blue light to yellow and that is really good when you end up driveing 4+ hours at night.

I'm about ready to chew some ***. A quarter to 7 and we haven't left yet. I start nodding off at 8 and someone else can drive.

Have an Acapulco Gold Gummie Bear and things will be just fine  :D

Just a quick note…

The best night driving/shooting/lowlight Amber (yellow) glasses MUST be polarized for best results.

Polarized lenses cut the glare dramatically…otherwise you are just tinting everything yellow with no added benefit.

Carry on!

Going to look into yellow driving glasses. I get eye fatigue something fierce. Moreso when its cloudy, not bright enough for sunglasses. I avoid night driving when possible.

5 hrs getting turkey and pies, 2 hrs. mowing wet grass but saved me picking up so many branches after the wind storm. Wife already has table set, ready for 3 kids, 2 fiance's tomorrow. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving, eat, drink, be merry!
