My research is Santa Claus with his 8 reindeer and presents on Christmas is a steal from Paganism. Odin with his long beard and coat, 8 legged horse bringing food and gifts during the winter solstice. Yule log and tide traditions are all Pagan as well. As well as our days of the week, etc
