Must be news time or John is looking through the Mr Beer site! LOL
Plastic is A OK for brewing. The alcohol content isn't high enough to break down the plastic. Now distilling it is a no-no for final spirits. You can mash and ferment in food grade because it's low alcohol. That Bewitched is supposed to be good stuff! Make sure you clean everything well including the spoons you stir with. I don't sanitize my pans because you boil water in those.I got my beer brewing kit today and I actually looked at the directions. Seems easy enough I don't like the idea of plastic would rather have glass I would think is better but first time I'll use plastic..View attachment 1715394822
OK sounds like a plan. Gonna use spring water from the store because our water sucks here. will follow the directions for the first time.Plastic is A OK for brewing. Fred, I am guessing it is going to turn out really bad, in fact you should probably just let me dispose of it for you to be sure! Hah! I too was cruising the Mr Beer site, saw the same plastic and it gave me pause. I may need to cruise up your way and do a quality control check! Not a good cook but maybe beer is my calling. lol
Looking forward in sharing beer at Mopars in the park next year.
To be honest I was gonna bring you the first bottle to sample and if you got a smile on your face me and Hemi would crack one open and share with a doggie treat.Fred, I am guessing it is going to turn out really bad, in fact you should probably just let me dispose of it for you to be sure! Was thinking the same thing what we drinking?Time for a sipper!
A dead soldier. Was thinking the same thing what we drinking?
Sounds good. You weld up some prototypes and we will keep drinking...Rocker arms make fun welding art. Maybe about 4 of them welded together in a C shape for the handle
