I'm home after being out for 7 weeks.I'm going to tune on the slowest.Tighten up the converter and fix the howling rear

get rid of it tomorrow.Oregon and Ohio wore me out with all the riding around low underpasses and construction





 
I see flood lands, looks like she was lucky it did not hit the water, I wonder if she had a spare :D.. Glad all is well and behind her :cheers:
 
Hey bigdummy, what fer plant ya got under the hood of that freight shaker? (you got slowpar or no car under yer name), I'm guessing a Detroit Sloppy 60??

Not bad for a Sloppy 60 Detroit, I gotta say.......... The truck tho, hows that ride with all that torque?

I drove back in the day for a few years, I had a Western Star, 6400 series, with a 600 Cat, turned right up too putting out something like 710 HP and I think it was 2300 foot pounds....On an 18 Road Ranger.. BUT, I also had a close and dear friend that worked at the local Cat Dealership at the time so I would take it in a day it was slow, and Jeff, had time to "mess" with it at my request to do "Dealership work....That 600 I had 2 Bulldozer D-11R turbo's back to back on it, and the injectors were enlarged. Chipped, (boy did I pay for that little part) and then it was tuned all of it dialed right in....AND still got 6 MPG....

What all you do to that Series 60?

And what trans is on that 60?

I had a Pete one time with a 4 and a quarter Cummins in that went like hell.....traded that truck for the Star....Sadly, this was all before I was married....I got pics of both trucks, but neither are online....I may have to take a trip to the local library to scan them as I don't have a scanner.....

That was back in a wilder time for me LOL:burnout:
 
Just picked up in Rhode Island going to Indy 500 for Fox sports.Im camping out in New Haven till Morning.Traffic across the Tappenze Bridge sux on Friday night


 
You're in my neck of the woods now! I'm about 30 mile north of New Haven. When I was still driving trucks and had to go to NY or NJ, I would make every effort to get through that area by 5:30 or 6 am. Most of the time I would beat the worst traffic. Going any later then that was just looking for trouble.

Yeah you were in my neck of the woods.... Go Through Portsmouth, NH on I-95? To get to Maine, how'd you make that trip?

IF you did, you were about an hour from me! I'm in the State Capitol of NH!!!!!
