I'm surprised that people are voting that they think we won't race? I mean this is the whole reason that yellow rose is actually making the announcement because people believe anything he says it seems like? I can post pictures and Time Slips and everything and have way less votes but I figured if yellow rose wrote this up since he's so believable that there would be no doubt in anybody's mind that there will be a race.
 
I hope everybody remembers to vote for the entire package and not just the motor? I might have to loan him a set of tires just to make myself feel safe in the other lane. What was it? 12 years or so since the last time you've drag raced that car?

I actually posted that 318 for stroked340..... wink*wink*

But i CAN blow the rust off my elbows, stretch my back, and throw 1200 bucks (do i have that much??) into a Duster and go 11's ?? Don't poke the bear....:p

Also I wish the voting was not autonomous. That way we don't get people saying I knew he was going to win or I knew he was not going to win. And also we get to know who these wishy-washy voters are? And the naysayers!

Did we really need another thread started for this race? Last I looked on the first thread it was a tie in the polling on who would win. Now we have another poll?

It would be kinda fun if FABO members showed up with their cars and some more races happened. I think jpar brought this idea up in the first thread? Get your own lane and have someone draw up a bracket and have some fun. This of course would be secondary to the 410-340 race between jpar and YR.

It's opened up to 273's, 318's, 340's, and 360's this year..... YR is in with his 340. My wife even entered with her Ramcharger, providing i finish getting it together .. LOL. You have your sno-prospector... :poke:

Yes the old thread was just what it was getting too old. There's people voted on that thread that haven't been on this form since. This is not just wondering what would happen but this is definitely we have talk behind the scenes and we're going to try and make it happen. So this is unofficial vote. And it's not just the two Motors it's the whole package! LOL
By all means I hope this inspires some local for a bodies only Grudge (lol not really!) matches! I mean it is just all for fun and this is what it's all about isn't it? I mean we have these badass Mopars and what we didn't get to be at the track at the same time as another local was and get to run against each other and see how we did? I think that would be interesting all over the place? I'd love to see a couple guys from The Forum get together in Florida New York Las Vegas la anywhere?
Anyways what's really got me concerned lately is yellow roses nervousness about missing 2nd gear?! It's been awhile for him so I can imagine that might be working on his conscience!? LOL
