Two separate transmission forums an no room for this???

News and politics and there's no room for this?
 
I don't understand why no. If not then this needs to be a sticky.

Me too, but lightweight who started those post. I got him to be a member here to watch Tom Myl's build he said there's not much here for these car, that's way they do not stay bummer. All the history on another forum another bummer. We need that surf here. These are a bodies car correct.

I would think a special forum for the ultimate A-body would be a no-brainer, but I guess it's more important that we talk about restoring slant 6 cars and reminisce about how fast the 273 was. :banghead:

Most of you know I been involved in the restoration of Tom Myl's BO29 HEMI Barracuda. I notice myself going to other forums (Websites) about some history on these cars, and I was thinking the other night that I don't understand why the Best website does not have a forum just for these cars. I thought that forabodiesonly should have a separate forum on these cars, because they are an A body super car. I thought it would be nice for the people on here that know these cars and remember them to get a chance to post what they know and to get those other important people that are just into these cars here on this site. So we would have all the information here and have its own place on this website. So I contacted Joeychgo about this. This what he had to say. "I don't think adding a forum just on history will get that much action. Your welcome to start a thread on history if you like". I said it's more than history. He said, "I know what your saying, I just don't think there would be enough activity for a whole forum. Just make a post of what you are looking for". So I was looking around here, there are a lot of other forums here that do not get hardly any action. I think it would get a lot more than what he thinks.

What do you people think?

Yeah, I don't get the logic (or lack thereof) for not having a forum for these cars. I would like to hear the reason. If it is a 'lack of server space' then condense some of the redundant forums and get rid of some of the more or less useless ones. I personally see no need for a politics forum on a car site. I know it's popular but I chose not to see it. And again, a dedicated forum to model cars but not one for perhaps the most highly regarded factory race cars ever produced? Makes absolutely zero sense on any level.
 
yeah we gotta have that Politics forum, eh , where else would the 8 guys that post there over and over all day have to spout nonsense that has nothing to do with the purpose of this forum ? This is such a no brainer !

Just checked out classracer.com. I love the paint job on the Cuda!!!!
Lots of cool pictures of LO/BO cars.

Help me out here, I looked thru classracer and couldn't find much on LO/BO cars, where is it on their sight?

It very nice that here on Abodies that the top banner has a what? BO29 Cuda as the headlining picture!

You have to access the Nostalgia Stock and Super Stock thread.

Go to 'Original Hemi Dart Information' or 'Original Hemi Cuda Info'.

It will take you about 6-Months to read all the posts. .......:coffee2:

Ok Dave, Now I understand better what You are aiming for.
I know here in Sweden, in the whole of Europe and most certainly also the rest of the drag racing world outside of the USA, people know about, and follow these Super Stockers. Yes more or less, but every one know about them. No other car, I mean not one single car, can compare in popularity to these package cars from Chrysler. When I see the titles of the Forums of FABO, I can´t believe we even have to discuss this!

the BO29 cuda on ebag has been there a while.
its listed at $103k
is that too much for such a rare car.
is there something wrong with it ?
it has a build sheet. That helps.
with only 55 made I think it would be in someone's collection.

Absolutely! Those are incredible cars. I don't know why they wouldn't add it to the forums. Even if it doesn't get a lot of traffic, what does it hurt?
 
Free up some space...
Delete everything to do with politics, Patriots, Star Wars, etc
