Bought it summer 2014. My first yankee. Didn´t drive it until 2015. Spent the winter 2014 rewiring everything from cowl to lights. It´s a 318 - 727 - 7 1/4 LSD. Began summer 2015 with a 904 with two gears 1:st and 3:rd. Changed to a 727 winter 2015. Been driving it the whole summer 2016 without problems. Now its time to tear it down , have some rust issues

Welcome from another Swede. Nice looking Dart you got there.

Thanks guys. I`ve been hangin´ around here since I bought the car to learn as much as possible. I also have bought some things from members here. Great forum.

Engine bay , 318 with Edelbrock Performer intake , think there is a Edelbrock cam too but not really sure , Holley 750 ( I know it´s too big ) have bought FiTech that I shall install this winter.
I have a 360 on the floor waiting to be built. Looking at about 400 hp in it.

Were did you get the fibreglass hood? Did you make it yourself?

Thanks. Its not finished yet. Hope I have a result til spring and yes I make it myself.

Great progress, looks really good. Keep up the great job.

Left side completed. Ran out of welding primer so the metal work was stopped for a while. It turned out that the primer I have been waiting for will no longer be available , meanwhile I did some fiberglass.

The rear half of the floor didnt look bad in your pic.

How light is your fiberglass hood compared to steel? Will you use lighter hood springs on the fiberglass hood, or no springs and add a hood prop rod.

I bet you will find a buyer for your old sheetmetal fairly quickly. Theres quite a few swedish members on fabo to network with.

In that case I have to pass , thanks.
I must do a small repair on my driver side spear still. The rest is in good shape.

I have just done the mouldings , it is not finished yet so let me come back to you about the weight.
I will use original hinges without springs and use a rod yes. I will insert a metalplate inside the inside molding. Instead of adjustment in the hood , I will mill long holes in the hinges for adjusting.

no problem , your doing a great job with the car . keep going should be a great ride .

Theres somebody making A body hood hinge kits with gas filled springs so no prop rod. Also they make light duty coiled springs for fiberglass hoods as well. Maybe you have a contact in the U.S.A. that can get you a set of lighter duty coiled springs off of a FWD chrysler lebaron coupe hood hinges. They look like your oem dart ones just designed for a lighter hood.
