I imagine this car will take a year or more to get finished, it’s a long ways off and still needs plenty of parts. Heck. I just spent a weekend cleaning bezels that I won’t even use lol.

I might strip these bezels back down and do it again for no real reason other than trying to get them nicer. Painted the white letters with a white sharpie.
Was given the ability to buy a 67 grill and tail light housings so I got some new wall art.
I may try to get the fenders and splash shields attached this weekend with gaskets. Then it will be good.
Maybe start on the heater box.

got some practically perfect B-Body (GTX?) exhaust tips. Either will be wall decorations or I’ll install them to piss off the purists. 
Put together a new shed and some new storage boxes for the porch. Now to make more space in the garage.

Nothing exciting. Made some room in the garage. Moved the stuff I’m not working on to the other side of the car by the wall which gives me more space as well as keeps the stuff more safe.
Cleaned up my bucket seat brackets. Need to primer, sand then paint them. Bought a flat black for them but was thinking maybe something a little more durable. I found some bucket seats for my car local! Guy called me today, says he has 3 sets, whoop whoop.
Had a little jb plastic weld left from the dash bezel, so I used it up to start fixing the spots on the floor console. Don’t worry about the slop on the back part, the stuff was frustrating me and I said **** it. This thing has a lot of knicks, scrapes and broken pieces. The top plate also has a lot of broken tabs on the mounting side unfortunately.
Really I need to bite the bullet and just buy the stuff for the dash and finish it. Then start on other projects.

Bad news… the guy local to me only has 67 seats, which are the same tracks but not the same seats. So they won’t work. My search for bucket seats continues.
Are people in the Midwest smoking crack? Since when did seats become gold? 2k for seats that need redone? 1100 for seats that need redone?

are the 67 seat frames different to 69? will 69 covers (and foam if different) fit the 67 frames? just a thought if they're local. another thought, if you may use 'b' body exhaust tips does it even matter if you use 67 seats? at least until you find a 69 pair it'd make it useable.

67 seats cannot take 69 foams or covers.
I’m not going to use the B body exhaust tips, I’ll get correct tips for my car.
I’m at another crossroads. I want A/C in my car, but my heater box is non a/c.
I can look for a new heater box with a/c which may take a while, I can strip the one from my purple car, I can buy a donor vehicle, or I can do aftermarket a/c.
They all sound like shitty problems to have and a problem that will set things back to getting stuff complete… everything I need is right here in the red 67 and in the purple car…. Well I’ll figure out what to do one of these days.

Damn… got a new dash with a wiring harness. Well I didn’t look at the harness close enough…. I may go back to my plan of an M&H harness. Couldn’t use the glove box door either because I need the holes for the dash bezel… I don’t care that the swinger didn’t have that bezel, I want it. So I filled the holes in my glove box door where the dart 270 emblem went.
found heater ac box, hopefully I can get it this weekend. Only need the dash unit now, I actually found one and am trying to get it shipped.

The wiring does not look that hacked up, it looks repairable.
Fixed console. And holes in heater box. Filled in the holes in glove door box where “Dart 270” emblem was.
Now off to get some wires and maybe fix these couple of wires that are bad.
Trying to decide on what projects to start next on the car while waiting to purchase parts.

Yup, get everything, finish the car, sell what's left on FABO, that's my plan when my car his done major garage cleanout...
I have a suggestion for you when you go to install the console carpet. I got the idea from somebody here. I got a bunch of industrial quality velcro at the hardware store and installed the console carpet with that. If you ever need to work with the console wiring or the linkage, you just remove the section that is in your way and then reapply it. If you want pictures send me a PM
That is a fantastic idea! I feel like the carpet in my purple dart is always falling and never wants to stay.
I wish the trans wasn’t in the car right now because I’d start cutting the floor to install the floor shifter.

I will still fix this dash harness that I have but the last thing I need is an old broken harness being the reason my car catches on fire or doesn’t work.
