Swinging for Divorce…

Any quote I get is 2-3-5x the cost for anyone else because I’m a dentist.

To run wire to the barn I got a 7k quote then another quote from someone who knew I was a dentist and it was magically 20k for that one. Easier and significantly cheaper for me to do as much myself as possible.

Keeps the wife happy too.

She got a new car, it should be here within the next month.
You are doing it right, run the wire in pvc and that keeps rocks from hurting the wire, from the ground freezing and thawing.

Been a while, haven’t done much as I’ve been slammed with work, office remodel and being lazy with.

I bought DrDiffs spring relocation kit a month or 2 ago. Trying to decide if I want to use it on this car or the purple car, if I don’t use it in this I’ll use the Dana 60 from the black car.

Dropped the trans last week, welded the floor shifter brackets today. I was hesitant about keeping the auto but I think the auto is the best transmission for this car for what I want to do with the engine.

I’m still a super shitty welder, but all the welds have to do is hold the brackets in place for the console, not much pressure on them.

I’ll slowly get moving along on it again.

Need to figure out what to do on it next….

Doc, did you ever get all the parts separated and inventoried? It looks like to have a good start on getting the car together.

Mig1? Clean metal and buy some darn glasses!!! Use gas too if you can.
Glad to hear you are still alive, thought maybe your wife snuffed you out!!!

Clean metal and buy glasses? Gas? What do you mean?

No the wife didn’t kill me, she did get a new car though.

Not really, I mean most of it is separated and labeled but not everything. It’s just sitting in the shop that has the temp set to 60 degrees 24/7. I have a couple more engines I need to bring in this shop too.

This copper car really I haven’t done much to it. I’m trying to think of things to do before taking it to paint. I wanted to have it in paint already but… December and taxes were the worst, I hope to pay taxes quarterly this year.

Your daughter wouldn't let her, the car goes a long way keeping you in the good grace with the wife, a fist full of cash in her wallet goes a long way too.
Car and cash equals a very happy wife. :D

I always found it easier to just put money in my IRS account monthly.
Yeah I am going to be trying something different this year. Last year I left everything in the business account and only took draws when I “needed” the money, this year I’ll take distributions every month and leave the business account with a specific amount left in it.

Every time I take an owner distribution I will transfer 30% of it to a separate account to hold for the taxes.

She is super happy about the new car, I don’t like the payment though. I also wrecked my truck, but it’s fixed now. I briefly thought of getting a new truck but I don’t want the new truck payment.

Got mounts cleaned up with new sound deadener added, then splash shields w/ gaskets fenders and added more epoxy to console.

Messed with the rear of the console some more.

My wife wants some Mini Goats, so I built my wife a goat house. I named them

Moose and Knuckle.

Moose is the brown one.

You better prepare a room for me.... I love goats, and minis.... OMG

Yeah I actually didn’t really want the goats but I caved and let the wife and kids get them. They are cute but it’s so much work with all the animals.

Happy wife happy life
Yes I try to keep her happy, she needs to be happy so I don’t get in trouble. I’m about to place a couple of larger orders because I’m running out of small things to do on the dart before getting it painted?… at least I don’t know what else I can do on it before painting it.

I’ll be ordering the rest of the weather striping, some suspension parts, PS, and I think that’s it?

Cute as heck in looks and antics! You could do goat yoga! It is a thing lol.

Yes goat Yoga is a thing, but I’m not to sure there are that many women around us in Missouri doing yoga… lol

If you don't have one yet get a YouTube Channel. I'm a sucker for baby goats lol. There's also a bull named Rufus i watch also. I think the owner said like 2700 lbs lol

I’ve seen clips of Rufus the bull, that owner and bull are pretty funny. I think it’s awesome when Rufus attacks the side by side.
