The end is near...

Well now, aren't you special...?

If you say so. I'm just happy to live in a country where I have the FREEDOM to work on what I enjoy. Before you say "Not for long blah blah" I'm the young guy here, let that be my problem.

For the record those were examples I don't actually own a K24 or HE 6.0 although I'd like to someday. Swap a turbo K24 into a Mazda RX-8 and tear up the track, swap a carb-converted Jag V-12 into an old-school rat rod and tear up the streets. Life is too short to limit yourself to one brand or engine family.

At the rate things are going at…

I’m hopeful it doesn’t, but world events are getting a little too “interesting” lately.

Thanks for the laughs.....if it wasn't for those I would get nothing useful from you LOL

Hey it's not my fault all you do is post these ridiculous threads, seeking validation and hoping you'll hear what you want back from the echo chamber.

Let's face it, you're probably just jealous all those HellCrate cars are faster and more reliable than yours is. Although again I don't see why you even care, you've barely got a car at all

Remember this is you...
Why would I want to drive it more than 10 miles? I have a work vehicle and I prefer to keep my Barracuda nice. No reason to drive it 60 miles one way....infact I wouldn't even drive my mostly stock '71 Demon 60 miles one way.....I mean for what? That's how you get rock chips and damage to very expensive grilles....now I know what your response will be and hey all I can say is i'm far happier driving my gorgeous cars around less miles but getting **** tons more praise and admiration from people that actually know what they are looking at because they are so nice and well built. Of course I get scared driving my beautiful cars around.....I have a ton of money in them to not only make it run like a scalded dog at the track but also is the envy at most car shows and have you paid attention to the illiterate bastards that congest our roads anymore.....and you can't blame me for any of it as I never had kids.

Geez I don't know.....I only changed the oil and ran the valves a couple times a year more for peace of mind, I would get up on the freeway but will admit I wasn't going 75 like everybody else as I didn't like the constant 4k plus rpm's.....but lets not forget there are a lot of Drag Week guys doing that and they mostly have the valvetrain for it and take it easy on the highways unless they have an overdrive.....so it's doable and is done each and every year, I guess from so many not liking 550-600 hp maybe your driving skills have diminished and hey I get it......buy mine haven't and I enjoy that kind of power.....425hp gets boring real quick, I don't drive to the track although when I first started racing I would drive 10 miles to meet up some friends that had a trailer and they would tow me.......didn't mind the drive at all before going to the track but was always leary of deer when I was driving home at midnight or later.

That's just sad man! Why even have a Mopar if you won't drive it more than that? Are you so financially destitute you can't repair it if it gets blemished? Gosh, what if you get a rock chip in your grille? Oh no!!! That's impossible to fix!!!

No matter what happens in the future, your car will just continue to sit in your garage 99% of the time.

I'll be a Hot Rodder till the end. I will admit that I'm as old school as they come.
Not into electronics or computer tuners. That's just me.
Local news did spots on the SEMA show. Many, and I mean many booths have displays with electric cars and parts.
Not for me, but I'm sure for others.
Think back of the guys with the flatheads and cars of the 30's and 40's. In the mid 60's to late 70's I wouldn't give a nickel for one.I'm still that way.We were and still are devotees of the Muscle Car area.
It's all in what YOU like. As they say "To each his own"

Back when I was too young to own or even drive a car, I was afraid it would all end (meaning muscle cars and hot rods) before I could get to where I could own my own. Have to say it has lasted longer than I ever thought it would. But it will end someday. Sooner or later, don't know when, but one day the cars I have loved all my life will be as out of date as a steam locomotive, or a sailing ship, or a horse drawn chariot. Shoot, they're getting there already. For that matter, so am I.

I still love steam trains and sailing. I guess they'll haul me to the grave in my Mopar.

Yeah, steam locomotives are still awesome, they just get outperformed in every way by modern diesel/electric locomotives. As for sailing, sail ships are about gone, but sailing boats are still popular. I've watched every You Tube episode of SV Delos, whose skipper recently completed a circumnavigation of the globe. If my wife and I were (a lot) younger, I might be tempted to sell everything, buy a blue water sail boat and just cruise.

I'll be pulling my 340 out of my sport ( frame is shot) and leaving it for my son; incase his 360 in his swinger bites the dust one day. I've told him that with the sizeable inheritance that will be coming his way, to look for an estate sale " pristine garage kept beauty" that some old guy kept in his garage and never drove..... And drive the piss out of it....

I want Mopars with gen 3 hemi, gen 2 hemi, small block, big block, slant 6. I don’t care what they got just have fun with it.

Can't believe I wasted the time to read this... Jesus H Chrysler, life's too forkin short...

LOL LOL LOL LO LOL LOL.......unfortunately that is all I can reply back to you as the masters at work here are biting their nails waiting for me to slip up so they can rid the most honest, truthful, and one of the smartest guys to ever join this forum.

It's sad that you lack even a basic understanding of the Constitution and what "freedom of speech" actually means. Only applies to the government bud. This is a privately owned website. Joey can allow, or not allow, whatever his heart desires. His site, his freedom. Very simple concept.

And "freedom" doesn't mean "freedom from consequences". It's never meant that everyone gets to do or say whatever they want. That's anarchy, not freedom.

As long as they're not like yours, parked in a garage collecting dust 99% of the year because their owners are too scared to drive them I'm good with it. Gen III hemi swap 'em, LS swap 'em, hell, Tesla swap 'em for all I care. Just keep them on the road.

If this hobby goes away, it will be because people didn't let the next generation see what it can be. You can't show the next generation how cool these cars are if they're parked in your garage all the time and on the road for less than 10 miles at a go. If that's how you treat them, then soon enough that's all you'll be able to do with them.

They take away your beloved Hemi and instead replace it with a EV that makes artificial vroom vroom sounds or you get a 6 cylinder HurriCrate for being such an obedient subject.....LOL......its lonely being at the top of the brains pile.

LOL....with a dictator like Trudeau you better be driving your old cars as he already took some of your guns and gun rights and you all just sat back like good obedient slaves and some know that is just the beginning.

More reliable? Hmmm I drive a Toyota daily so yeah no Chrysler or Stellantis product ever built is more reliable than those, I have never had one of my incredible builds not start....which I will just humbly take the credit for whereas all day every day auto repair shops are full of modern day Big 3 junk waiting to flush their owners wallets, LOL, oh and just to be accurate in your statements of my possessions it's cars as in plural...as in many plurals....as in 9 or is it 10......ehhh who is counting.

Shouldn't respond but... can't... help... myself... ugghhh

For one I don't care much at all for the new vehicles that come with the G3. Go ahead and let them switch to EVs, I was never planning to buy a new Hemi car anyway so your "point"(?) means nothing. They made the G3 for 20+ years with millions produced, as long as there are cores to be found in junkyards and for sale online that's all I care about. For another pretty much every modern Mopar enthusiast is ready to jump over to Ford or GM because they aren't completely giving up on V8s and that's what people who drive modern Challengers, Chargers etc want.

A HellCrate is a crate engine, it can only be swapped in an emissions-exempt classic car. He meant more reliable than your Cuda which it probably is. "Smartest guy on the board" hmmm... how's that saying in @RustyRatRod 's signature go? Something about people who claim to be the best/smartest/most righteous, aren't...
