@Ironracer

I have had Progressive for over twenty years with zero claims.

My car got hit by another progressive member.

3,500.00 damage. (Cheapest estimate out of three.)

I received 500 bucks.

My car was parked.

At my house.

In my drive way.

I will tell everyone i care about not to buy their insurance for the rest of my life.

Dead serious: go to law school. Just for a semester. MAKE FRIENDS. Every one you can.
Do favors for em.

Then call em on **** like this. It's cheaper this way.
Really.

I wouldn't wipe my butt with State Farm or Progressive policies.

Bless us with your divine inspiration, Master. Who do YOU use?

In August I drove 2 hrs to get a 06 Chrysler 300 SRT8 from my daughter's friend.I was driving my 09 ram quad cab 4x4 and pulling my car trailer.A young girl 17 yrs old turned into me on the drivers side,I drove it home towing the 300 on the trailer.long story short, state fing farm was both ins companies, they paid for a 2500 Cummins for me to tow the duster to molar nats, then they paid for a ram 1500 hemisphere 4x4 for 3 weeks till they decided my frame was bent and they totaled my truck.I got enough from them that I only had to add 3,000 to get the 12 Laramie longhorn, hemi 4x4 that I now have.sometimes it works out(rarely) but I am kind of satisfied................jeff
A Bro of mine had a young lady cut across i-75, tapped his 1ton Cummings dually 4x4 last week. Cop said, even though you were good,my Sarge said to give you the ticket

Praise The Lord! 120k 3.7 yes I know they have issues, but I had it's older brother in a Burnt Orange 01 dak 5 spd... smoking Burning tires till I was forced to sell. Almost 300k on that ol gal

My brother had a 2WD 92 Ram 2500 with a Cummins in it. It got stuck in my flat yard because of the dew in the grass. Believe it was limited slip.
So he's fed up with the square body Cummins truck and wants it gone? Where's it at, I'll be right over to get it. I'd love to find something like that.

I have State Auto Insurance. Had them for decades. I have had a few claims and accidents and never a problem. It's through a local agent. Someone I can call up and call by name. I'm a customer and not a number.

Damn, and I thought them days was done and gone
My collector car insurance is the same. ANPAC Chrome through American National who carries my house insurance. With a bundle and no claims I get a $800+ refund that more than pays my car premium.

I made a huge mistake buying the old Cummins--it's 2WD and I convinced myself I "didn't need that." The gas truck it replaced was limited slip rear and it did OK nor more than I used it in winter or other adverse. But that damned Cummins --5 speed-- generates terrific torque and it does NOT have limited slip. It's useless in a muddy field or worse

The other issue with the Cummins is that I just don't drive it much, and it's also useless "around town" errands--going to the grocery store, it never gets warmed up.

The old Dakota might go away, too. I use it for "beater" errands but if much more goes wrong with it, it will go.

Regardless of "what I want" the prices are ridiculous
Pretty sure there is a slip-in locker available for that rear. Pull the rear cover, pull the side gears and spiders, slip in the locker. No pulling gears or r&p setup.
Something to investigate, anyway.. Look for a "soft" locker.

After owning an 89 Toyota pickup and a 2001 Camry, I never thought I would want anything else. My wife's niece totalled her Camry a few years ago and we just never replaced it. And after the early 2000s pickup body style, I just never liked the looks of them anymore. Or that's what I would have bought.

It seems to be a common theme amongst many Toyota owners.... The lack of modern looks. I can't see through your eyes therefore I like blue and you don't lol....

What I do like is there is a almost a fair certainty that when I get in my T4R or my Dad gets in his Camry it will start and do the job. All vehicles are not without flaw but when a clean Toyota shows up on a lot and we can include older models they don't stay there long. I can't say that about any other brand.... Period.

No argument Toyota's are dependable, But damn the Tundra is one ugly truck IMO.

My daughter has a fairly new Tundra. It's white, 4WD, big wheels and tires. I don't think it's ugly but right now I have no intetest in a Tundra.

Oh I would love to have a 4 Runner. I do like their looks. Just a little more than I want to spend right now. I am also ok with the new Camry style. It's mainly the Tacoma style I don't care for. A recent Toyota style trend that I don't care for is the upswept bulge on the quarter panels of several of their vehicles.

For an import, I like the looks of the new Honda Ridgeline's. Not a big enough box for me and I don't need 4 doors but a pretty good looking vehicle. Honda would be good.

sold my 02 Dakota for what i paid for it 5 years earlier. I did replace a bunch of stuff. Battery, alternator, brake lines, radiator, idler pully, drums, rotors, calipers, pads, shoes, master cylinder, front wheel bearings, tie rods, put a $50 cap on it, replaced the front fenders painted to match body. It had 220k. The guy asked me how long i thought it was going last and what do i think will need replaced next as he cant work on vehicles. I told him to buy a new truck.
