$ 300K buyers of original Hemi dart aren’t buying $8K /6 67 Dart Sedans.
those are not comp sales.
Does a $10 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion make a $200K rough Detroit neighborhood home go up in value? … well, they’re both homes?
Not saying our cars will bring 100k but it will impact the values. Watch 340 & 383 cars rise over the next year. It will happen ! Might only be 4-8 k but it will effect the prices .

I have to disagree. I'll check the date of the last auction, and you can extrapolate the rise in value between the two auctions. Our cars are going up in value but I doubt it's because one rare example sold for a high price at auction.

what does that directly have to do with a Hemi Dart? That’s a very specific and niche car. And in the bell curve of 67-69 Darts, it’s an outlier.
I agree with 440 -> 383 -> 340 -> 318 trickle down effect.
but in general the 67-up Mopar musclecar market seems has been and currently on a rise.
the 62-65 B-bodies have not.

I think it was 2016 it went for $300k. If it gets $350k, that's a 16.5% increase in value, or 2.75% per year.
If you didn't know about this car, or the several others that have sold at auction over the past decade, I highly doubt it would affect any increase in price for the lesser models. Comparing any regular production Dart vs a 1 of 70-80 race car isn't fair in any manner. They are raising in value because of simple supply and demand.
That's my thoughts on our Darts and pricing. No matter what it may or may not sell for, I still love this car.

It's in the top ten Mopars and top ten race cars half hour episodes as well as the 2016 auction.

I don’t see haw any other dart besides a race hemi will change in value. From a /6 roller to a restored 383 GTS, they are just not the same as a race hemi dart.

So they meant " never raced since shitty resto"? Please don't get me wrong, if I had sick coin, I'd have built something similar. I Love the Hemi SS cars, and always remind bowtie and blue oval owners of the records set. I've always wanted to put my foot in one.. without granny's egg! Lol . But if something is being misrepresented, that's shady business.

Found this doing a quick search.
The "Car of the Rising Sun" is a real LO23 car, and accounted for. In that photo, it is being driven by a good friend of mine who owned the car briefly in the early 1970's. I cannot recall the names of the brothers who originally owned the car, but it was built more for ISCA-type shows. They were from Central PA (York?). The car was never really a strong runner when my friend owned it. This car eventually ended up being the plain yellow car Lou Mancini built to drive on the street in the late 1970's/early 1980's. It sold a Barrett-Jackson a few years back for $300k, and I believe still resides in Vegas.
Lou Mancini, Tom Hoover, what's the difference?
