Thompson’s Powerblast Plate

If those were any benefit, they'd be in every single Holley style carburetor made. They're not so what's that tell you?

Maybe you needed larger squiters or a 50cc pump ?
Hahahaha:) I installed larger squirters, different size jets and carb cams. Everything makes a difference in one way or another including the powerblast plate. Great for cruising. You should try One... might like it:)

People are scared of what they are not familiar with...

so its a splash shield for the squirter....some tin snips and some 20g metal?
How about a squirter thats not like a squirt gun but more like a paint gun? It would have to be a pretty big nozzle for the volume it demands.

These things have been out a while now. Already been a few threads on them. Already proven them snake oil. Buy all you want. LOL

What is your engine setup?
My engine setup is a stock 383 with a street dominator 4 barrel intake, quick fuel 750 slayer carburetor , 452 open chamber heads with Schumacher tri-y headers. Like I said this plate might not be for everyone but for me it did the trick. When I stomped on the gas the car use to bog. I’m in Colorado at 9,000 feet above sea level, the air is thin and All summer I tried different jets squirters and carb cams. Everything I tried did help a little in there own way but I always still had a stuttering or bog when I’d stomp on the gas. I installed this plate and the car runs smoothly with no bog.

It looks like it wouldn't hurt. A mist of fuel has to burn faster and more efficiently than a stream bigger than a pencil lead. The butterfly's are barely open and there's not much air velocity just off idle. Just sayin'

You must be in a special part of Colorado to be at 9000 feet all the time. When I was in Denver at 5000 feet or so even the new cars bog There's No Air.

How much can that little thing cost? Seems worth a try.

I usually come through Wyoming cut through Laramie and down to Fort Collins and down to Denver and back up that way. I've never cut east across I-70. Also cutting across that way I never seen the altimeter go much above 7000.

Ohh Nice!!! So you probably take I-25 :) I have a buddy that lives in Fort Collins. It’s nice out there. If you go I-70 west you will find Georgetown it’s about 40 minutes from Denver.
