Throttle Conversion

HELP! I've got a 66' Dart 270 Automatic. I've Installed the Clifford Performance Duel Weber intake. We needed to convert the rod to a cable for the throttle, yet still engage the kick down linkage. what we tried has a very stiff pedal and it occasionally binds and if forced the pedal linkage pops off. Which sucks when you are on the interstate at night when it does.

You referenced to trying something that didn't work. What have you tried? I used the Lokar cable system on my car and it works fine. Many others here on the board seem to like it also. You can get it at Summit, JEGS, Mancini's, or many other racing parts suppliers.

Sorry Yes Got it figured Out, I installed the Gas Peddle from a 73' Dart, Cable actuated, and installed a Lokar Kickdown Cable. Works Great now Thanks To all!
