Okay guys I have this out side tire wear on passenger side and inside wear on driver side what is causing this!!! Need to fix this adapt these tires are only 3 weeks old!!!! An already bald.

It drives straight so not sure that it is alignment. Bushings??? Help please!

What car is that ? Sway bar mounted properly ? something looks off / Needs an alignment

its either toed in or out to much I bet its 20ft per mile or more .

It's a 1968 barracuda. So the sway bar should be sitting on top not under the the sway bar mount..

The sway bar should be sitting next to the strut rod not way below the control arm like that :eek:ops:

So sway bar should be sitting above sway bar mount? Does any one have any photos examples! :D. That solves the mounting issue there. How about the. Tire wear? D: :blob:

here is what a 68 should have.. 73-up is different..

I am sayin it might e the same set up (k member) so maybe that's why it doesn't look like your 68 example...

I'm an idiot sorry I uploaed your photo and looked close up. It looks the same. But I see that the sway bar is mounted above the mount! Mine is set up mounted below the sway bar mount!!! Oooooooops! Haha that takes care of that.

Thank you!

Any one with tire wear? Are we siting on alignment? Not possible bushing issue?

Doesn't a toe issue usually result in wear on inside or outside of both tires? Wearing on the outside of one and the inside of the other would make me think the car is tracking cooked. Im no front end mechanic but I'd check the alignment of the front-end relative to the rear.

An alignment shop that knows their craft can tell you a lot more than a bunch of old farts staring at a computer and making guesses based on 1 picture...

this is a bit dark. but this is the driver side

my control arm bushings are completely burnt out upper and lower. thats why i was asking if it was a bushing issue.

but ill take her to shop for alignment i didn't think it was that because she drives straight.

but ill check that out thanks .

these old farts. have helped 110% of the time of resolving any issues I've ever had. ( guess ill speak for my self) any one else? :i

With both outsides being worn down extremely would say it has too mush toe in

My Valiant is wearing the insides bad because it has too much toe out and needs an alignment

Hey and Im no old fart either

I have my passenger LCA wearing out and my tire started losing tread, so that could be.
Man, I bet you're getting a lot of squeakin' and creakin' going on with both upper and lower bushings being shot!

no alignment shop is going to align your car with worn out bushings or any worn out parts.

Why get it aligned if you know the bushing are bad? i wouldn't, it would be a waste of money in my opinion. If the bushings are worn badly like you say the control arms are able to move or bounce in/out of spec as you drive, so a new alignment would likely have similar results... Seems like a bandaid to a bigger problem. Id replace the bushings, get new tires, and then align that 68...
