do all 70 340 dusters have the factory torque boxes ?
Frame boxes or torque boxes as most people refer to them is the area of the floor pan where the leaf springs are bolted to the unibody at the front. if you were going to remove the front nuts of your leaf springs you would have to go through an opening in the "box" to remove those nuts. All convertibles from around 1962 and hemi cars should have them. I say should because I have seen One or two without in my travels. Here is the ones that should have them, a body wise. Most 1969 to 72 340 4 speed a bodies should have them, auto's will not.do all 70 340 dusters have the factory torque boxes ?
The factory guys must have gone to lunch and never came back to finish.
