Hey yall, I have a duster with a 498 stroker.car is around 3200lbs race ready. It is a 440 block 4.15 crank with a 6.76 rod. It's 10.89 compression. Bullet spec'd cam for boost. Ez heads holley efi etc. It had a 107mm turbo and also a 1.80 powerglide. Rear-end is a dana with 3.54 gear. Question I'm having is I know converter is way to tight as it kinda struggles to gain rpm (datalog is attached). It currently has a 14-45 stator I'm pretty sure it needs a 17-0 but does anyone else have a similar combo? And what stator worked best? Thank you in advance!

Looks like you went from idle to 3600ish in about a second. Was this on the brake or just whacking the throttle? Looks like CL comp is adding fuel causing an overly rich condition. I realize this is 2sec into the run but afr can really play a part in spool time and laziness down track. I would assume E85? 650lbs/hr is 8-900hp worth easily. What is target boost on the brake and how much power are you trying to make down track? If you get it where it accelerates at the 10psi you’re currently at whenever you put power to it you’re gonna have to change stators again.

hey thanks for the reply, that datalog was a street pull, it was a little spool on the brake not hitting chip which is set to 4000. I released it around 3600 and it still pulled down slightly and then climbed. not really the best log to show but my tuning laptop is still in the car at the shop. The car is on e85 but i still use gas scale so its easier for me to read. I already replaced the junk amazon 02 sensor to a genuine bosch and that cleaned that afr alot. Tune is pretty spot on at this point. It will get to the 2 step which is 4000 and i have left on 8 pounds in 3-4 seconds. Problem is if i leave at 4k and 8 pounds i tried to ramp in 14 in 1.1 it will still drag the engine down to 3600 and then climb. At the top of 1st it will pull hard! then on the shift it will drop roughly 1600. Most i have had in so far is 16 pounds and it still dropped 1400 on it. Dont get me wrong car is still quick but there is still alot of meat on the bone. The goal is backside no prep racing so 4.80ish Our other car in our camp will 1.25ish 60 foot and roll 150ish out the back and thats what im try to imitate. I know its a big ask of stock block but I gotta try it.

I did find 1 pass I have saved here so don't mind the spin that was trying 4300 on 10lbs. But you can see the shift and I believe I was commanding 13 psi total out there.
