-
Good Research - Rani Dart,

In 1967 Mr. Norm's built a 'special' 67 Dart GTS called the 'GTN-1'

It was a 'High-Performance' 383.

I don't get this...............

How is the earlier stuff like the maxis and aluminum front end cars "not" factory?

They may be factory, but they are not A body or Super Stock cars as by the OP's timeline the S/S class wasn't in place until late 67/ early 68!!

The 'A-Body' Platform started with,

1960 Plymouth Valiant
1963 Dodge Dart
1964 Plymouth Barracuda

Plymouth Racing Division had thoughts about starting a Project for the
'new' 1967 'Barracuda 383' for 1967 NHRA Super Stock, with 'special components',
but that Project which was in the works in December 1966 was 'squashed'.

I heard somewhere ...but not sure....

did Mr. Norm build any GSS darts in 67?

I thought I read somewhere that he started in 67 but I was not sure if that means that he built some in the year 67 out of the 68 model year cars OR if that meant that there are some 67 model year GSS in existence?

Ms. Rani Dart,

Grand Spaulding Dodge {Mr. Norm's} out of Chicago built a few custom
1967 Dart GTS 383 {GTN-1} cars, that were equipped with a 'bolt-on'
Speed Performance Package.

At a Cost of {$363.65} added to the cost of the 1967 Dart GTS 383 'Sticker Price'

They were available in February/March 1967

* Kustom Headers
* Low Resistance-Flow Mufflers
* Dual-Point Distributor w/Performance Curve
* High-Performance Ignition Wiring
* Re-Jetted Carter AFB {575 CFM} Carburetor
* 3.55 Gears w/ Sure-Grip
* Dyno-Tuned
* Mr Norm's 'window decal'
