Back at cha brother...

HOT LOAD BLUES
wild cat truckers are independent ya know...
and he'll haul a load wherever you want it to go...
to make it pay,..he must haul each way....
he cant live on soup and run on A...
the greatest competition to hauling a load runs on a track not on the road.
the rail road buy scales,..an never weigh trains...
and if they get to heaven it'll be hell to explain....
now sometimes we haul produce and some times its paint....
sometimes we legal and sometimes we ant...
some loads are cold and some loads are hott...
some loads will mold and some loads will rott...
now to haul a hot load you don't need refrigeration...
but you sure do need a lil trucking education....
thay check on the left and thay check on the right...
and thay check by day and thay check by night...
thay check as seen and thay check on sight...
and thay check your tires and thay check your lights...
and thay check your load and thay check your bills...
and thay check for guns and thay check for pills...
at the end of the trip, when thay get threw....
there's not much of the check left for you....
now i picked up a load of hot cargo...
and headed to florida,to 0 largo...
i dodged all the scales and ran back roads at night...
dodged all the law that came into sight....
i arrived on time and was proud to be there...
now guess who was setting in a chair...
the florida P.U.C. said you arrived without fail...
now all you need is $500 dollars bail....
witch just gose to show you just cant win...
his tip was as hot as hot as the load i brought in...
in the good ol amrica,...the land of the free...
where everything's equal for you and me...
if your a independent trucker your in for a surprise...
you may run forever an never run into free enterprise...
the rail road is here and its here to stay...
poor jessie was right but thay blew him away...
ol trucker i meet at hunt's point produce market named john russo gave me a 45 record with these words as a song,..was the winter of 74-75 and bad blizzard hit while we all were backed in loading docks...i was 4 yrs old with my dad...DWB

“The Texas Kid is Making His Retirement Run”
Alvin Crow and The Pleasant Valley Boys. One of my favorite bands. It is a truck driving song…

Love those guys
I swear Ceasar Zuiderwijk is the best drummer to ever pick up a set of sticks

I got to see him do a one man show when the earring took a sabbatical, very entertaining
