So long story short I picked up a 360 that was last run in a circle track car in 1996. The seller drove the car but knows nothing on engine specs. Not sure who the builder was.

So far I’ve pulled one head and found a few things. The heads are “915” J heads, no major port work but does have 2.02/1.60 valves. Head has been cut 0.050” from a stock head. Red valve springs (stock 340?). The wrong push rods, oil hole, maybe Magnum? Cylinders are relieved at the top, 0.020” over, SealedPower factory replacement style pistons, 0.050” in the hole with 10cc valve reliefs.

So I popped the cam plug off hoping to get a usable number to ID the cam. This is what I got, anybody know what it is?

Can you maybe type out the characters on the back of the cam? Kinda hard to read.

Yeah I agree. What about the numbers on the opposite side? There's something else there too. That 772510 doesn't ring any bells.

If you have a shop in your area with a Cam Master, you
can plot the lift and duration throughout the cycle in a
couple minutes flat.

They are pretty common out here!

With a degree wheel and a Dial Indicator/Mag Base you can do it
youself but not nearly as quickly.

Keep track of where those lifters go if the parts are good.
