I used 2 1/4" sheets of aluminum and made them identical in size and shape. drilled holes for the carbs and center studs. then the filter sits nicely between them. not perfectly but damn near and I can move the filter around to fit better before snugging it down a touch more so it don't move.

I have a buddy runs a water jet. I have CAD. So I can draw my design up and send it over . So far velocity stacks are the plan

Nice work. This sought if thing is easy to do when you have the spirt to do such things. Which is 90% of this hobby. The love of!

Best thing about beer is the ease of which it can be regulated vs. say, vodka or Jack?

Glad you answered, I did not know the answer, just thought it might work.
Hey it might make this set up more tunable...less headaches

Awesome work!!!
Are you doing any work to the inside runners?

Looking real nice!!! I worked in a fab shop years ago and polished alo t of stainless and aluminum. People don't realize how much work is involved. Especially to get a mirror finish and a sanitary surface. Looks like you know what you're doing. Keep it up!

Thanks buddy! I do now know how much is involved. I would never ever do one for anyone else! It is the definition of labor of love.

Got my velocity stacks today! Super pumped! Had to put em on just to see! I must say it's making a statement!

Thanks buddy! I am a regular hard working guy like everyone else. I love that silly car and try to make it as unique as I can. I think of my car as an extension of myself. I also spent my childhood building cars with my father. I try to make him proud when I can. I also want to whip his *** at the drags! When I have the fastest car in the family I can start my next project. You might have noticed my 69 formula s cuda in the background! 340/ 4 speed car!

please tell me your gonna straiten the lids up so knn isn't sideways like that? looks awesome otherwise

Hahaha don't worry buddy! Those where just mock up picks so I could see the big pic. The filter bases and lids will be powder coated black. As will the intake and my new valve covers.
