He can just buy a beer or 2,3,4,5,6
Monday we are making a trip to visit Joe Pappas and then he is going with us over to Steve Atwell's to check on the engine and to drop off the intake manifold, carbs, fuel lines and valve covers. Steve has received the N.O.S. Accel 16-plug ignition setup and the Hemi should be ready to run very soon.
Joe at his office door (actually the rear restroom door) at the new HDK building. You drop those names so casually!
For Coffee Getter activities rest assured it will be operated in the fully open mode.So this is going to be a grocery getter and not a coffee runner?
One is about it for me anymore ! LOLHey! We don't even start counting beers around here until you get to 10 fellah!
So the HDK mockup mule doubles as a WHOOOOMPA! tester! LOL
I saw Ronnie Sox beat Butch`s car "looked like that", 3 out of three at Tulsa one year .But Butch was right there on two of them.Butch always ran a header on this car with the collector outlets turned slightly down and
slightly out. This feature is perfectly replicated on our new headers for the restoration.
There will be tabs welded on the two pieces so the turnout may be removed or replaced
with a short muffler for driving to the supermarket. Er...uh...yes officer?

I know , post is getting old, but so am I ! yeah , I went to most of the pra races, raced at most of them , think I missed one because I was pissed about they treated me the year before. I had to spot a 57 chevy - some light yrs. long, don`t remember. While he was doing a burn out, a supposedly track worker was standing in front of me and telling me to wait, soon as the 57 was done doing his burnout, the stupid ahra starter waived me to the line, cold tires and all. They were in such a hurry there was no recourse but to stage, you know what happened from there ! The year the " two ton rat", won the world champion ship, I spotted him a bunch, caught him in second gear, the race was over, but I lost high gear, and he went back around me and won the whole deal. drag racing can really suck !!!!!!yes, they were both pro stockers , but Butch`s car looked like the one old man ray is building. ----------- I dig it , keep the pics coming !probably was the 73 Pro Stock Duster.....I don't think Sox raced a M/P car in 75.
did you attend the P.R.A. event in Tulsa in 72?......I got to tag along to that event with 2 buddies that were a couple of years older than me....one is the guy that owns the paint shop (Boutwell Colision) that is painting this car. I had just turned 17, summer before my senior year in high school....we had a blast.
