**Twin Turbo 67 Dart Project**

Do those V Band Flanges have an O ring gasket in them also?

I don't know if they will move when you have them coated. How hot does the oven need to get for ceramic coating? Will they fit in the oven all put together?

These are the kits I used,

1st cook 300
second 300
third 600

My brother-in-law is a metalurgist and has the second largest oven in Texas so oven size is not an issue. He is a Shop Foreman for the second largest heat treaters here.

Nice work man! I am a huge fan of your build, I have been following closely for sometime. I have a 72 Demon that I am working on and am just south of you in San Marcos. I would love to build a clone of this motor, can't wait to see what she does on the dyno.

Thanks guys, it is starting to come together! Kind of glad I took a break cause I have a new drive to get it done as time allows!

lookin good. Can't wait to see the numbers you pull out of it. Wish I was as close to having it running as you are.

Got the other one mounted. Everything lines up perfect after the finish welding.

I still need to make some type of support system for the turbo's. I will do that after I get the water pump, alternator etc mounted so I know they will all fit correctly after it is done.

I still need the Rocker Gear & Pushrods. Will get them in the next week or so.

Thanks Scott. It is starting to come together.

Car Craft is supposed to be doing an article on this combination with pics etc once it is on Brian"s Dyno.

There will be alot of tuning that needs to be done. Brian estimated 3 days in the Dyno room tuning the EFI and setting up all the accessories.

Yep,I read earlier about Brian setting it up for the dyno. Will be nice to just drop in and fit abit and go!=D>You,ve outdone yourself on this one Louis.Congrats.

Heres a little inspiration :thumblef: This is my bosses '71 Dart. It has a twin turbo 400 based stroker engine. He never got a horse power reading but it did break a dyno rated at 1,800hp :finga:

Dang that is sweet..... Do you know how much boost he is throwing at it? Must be in the 30psi+ range I would think with those kind of numbers. Mine will be nowhere near that kind of power, 15psi max on mine.

Is there a thread on his car anywhere? If so post a link!

I just saw this and was in awe. Pure maddness hahaha. Has anyone thought about twincharging? like a turbo and a super on one motor. I want it but i read its crazy hard. I just think it would be good cuz you wouldn't get any lag. Correct me if i'm wrong

I saw that car at Carlisle by the Indy booth. The workmanship is fantastic and the car is beautifull. I only have 1 complaint. What is the sense in having 1800 hp if you cant put atleast some of it to the ground!!! You could spin those DUBs that he has on there with a warmed over 318 all day long!!! Pro street it and put some tire inder there!!!! Drifting gets expensive!!!!! :toothy10:

I can admire the work and craftsmanship that goes into a project like that car. I like to drive my cars and squeeze every ounce of performance out of them no matter how pretty they are. 600HP to the ground hooking would more than likely ruin that car with 1800HP with it set up like you say, it gets quite embarrassing for the guy who has all that $$ into his ride when it actually happens. The use of that car would seem to be for more of show than go. I can still admire the car though it is beautiful.

Looks like this car...but with recently installed Multi-port FI.
