This is the regulator i would use in your situation. If you move to efi later you can change the spring and keep using it.

Why don't you post the pn of your regulator and perhaps others could post the number of return regulators

I don't see any part numbers on the regulator so it's a mystery.

That’s just a Holley (or copy) deadhead style regulator. 12-803

After looking through the FAQ section on Aeromotives web site, particularly question #7 it's looking like a regulator change will be needed to make everything work properly.
