hate to hurt your feelings but i would put that car at about $3500. and that is on the high end. it may push 4k. the marked is really soft right now. nobody wants to spend any money.

That is more than I would want to give for it. Black on the gold from where the interior was shot, gold paint on rubber/plastic parts, blue under the hood and rust starting on a /6 car.

I am sure the value is different in every part of the country.

there always seems to be a price break right at the 72-73 model year too. if this was a 70-72 it would bring more i think.

my feeling is , its been repainted with the rear drivers quarter having been somewhat poorly repaired by the gas filler. that might lead to concerns of what is under the rest of the paint. it is still a slant 6 , drum brake , small pattern , 7 1/4 car , so there is no real value in that aspect. the interior is super clean which is a bonus. I would say the way it sits that it is a 3,000 dollar car maxing around 3500 as younggun stated. I also have an ex-slant 6 73 duster and im sure I couldn't get any more than 4 for it, mine still has its original FY1 paint

Just like a lot of our cars here, you'd be lucky to get what you put into out of it. In my case, that's impossible!

You'd probably get offered 1500-2000 around here, being a /6 auto, with quarter panel rust starting. Doesn't bubbling paint usually mean it's rusted through from the backside? Build sheet is nice, though - All I found was mouse eaten remnants from both of mine in my 73.

Im keeping it anyway that 6 goes better then my v8 car. soon to be done: get engine bay painted, get rust repaired ,rebuild 6 cyl,get rid of the crash bumper ,and swap over a 8 3/4 and front disc brakes . and I will convert it to big bolt and put 15 inch cragers. Then it should be worth what im thinking

these threads always end up being a pissing match. everyone has an opinion. i would never ask what my car is worth because i wouldnt want to hear what people think. lol,.

sorry, I was not meaning to sound like that.:violent1: :eek:ops: like I stated at the begining I am not even thinking about selling this. Just asking I did not mean for it to sound like that(you got me all wrong) just stating what Im doing in the future and by doing that it may be worth what I was thinking

Thanks, those 6s go good so im keeping that one and Im looking for a 1968-1969 dart to restore and do that one v8 .a real resto

Thing about our old cars is... They're worth whatever somebody will give for it. Plus the market varies considerably depending where you live. That looks like a nice driver! Sounds like you're gonna make it into sumthin cooler!
