List your branch and years in, also if you served overseas. Middle East, Europe, South America don't matter. Let's recognize everybody.

1986 USCG, Honorably Discharged, was already U.S. Merchant Marine before the Coast Guard, but returned to being a Merchant Mariner, did a lot of U.S. Navy and NATO research and development, special forces support and black ops from '87 to '93. Then worked as Chief Engineer on seagoing tugs in the Caribbean, then was an engineering officer on oil tankers until I retired.
USAF 1973-1993. Terminal at Major. 9600 flying hours, mostly in C-130s.
No time in the AC-130. I was in a C-130 Special Ops unit in Germany for 3 years (81, 82 and 83) but never Blackbirds or gunships. The gunship would have been pretty friggin awesome. I have seen them at work.Did you ever fly the AC-130? I'm retired Air Force now working on Hurlburt Field. That AC-130 is one bad MF'er.
