I thought I would show off the Swinger with the new Hemi scoop installed, still have some work to do but boy she sure is pretty looking out the windshield and seeing that big ole air catcher LOL.

Sweet..... i like that air pan you have on in it. did you make it or buy it if you bought it where ????

X2 Only thing better than a hood scoop is a functional hood scoop. Nice!!
 
I got the idea from Cudaspaz, I tell ya he is a great guy to know..he bought two packs of the hood scoop foam and offered to send me the one he doesn't need.
I am a sheet metal worker so I fabed the plate up in the shop. I think if I found a nice peice of plexiglass I would have used that but the
aluminum looks ok.
I had a old top from a air cleaner that I flipped unside down and cut the openning in the aluminum pan to fit the pie tin then just mounted it on the carb.
Look at what cudaspaz did on his, it is much more elaborate.

Did you make it to the nats in Moncton this weekend..I gather there are over 2000 cars that registered..

Ian, no I am in Ontario. The car is really hard on fuel, at 80mph the car is empty in an hour to an hour and a half LOL. So Moncton would be ....how many fill ups? LOL

Love that single plane intake.

when you get a chance post the specs on your build.

I take it the cam is not too immense giving you have such a nice idle.

Agreed. Me and my wife were just saying the same thing.
It does sound great. I've always loved that green too. I dont know why because it's not typical of me, but I do!
 
That is one good looking ride. And moves down the road quick too.
 
I'm more of a red or blue type guy but damn I love your green car to. I was watching your reflection as you filmed and your car looks fantastic as well sounding hot. Nice work.
