Wanted 904 trans

I have a core 904 I would sell you. 50.00 and it's yours, I'm not that far from you. Hop on i80 and go for a ride.
 
PM'd you with 5 also have several drive shafts, I scrapped one whole shed and trailer of parts . 1 car garage left and one trailer. And then its all gone.

I decided not to go through things. I grabbed it with the grapple bucket and loaded the Dump truck. The enclosed trailer went as a unit.

Getting tired of Paypal and shipping. Its always a loss on my end so pick up only or its going to China to make Walmart tractors.

I left you my number. If I don't answer keep trying I don't here the phone when operating a machine. Lots of good sheet metal and a glass bolt on 6 pack hood for a early Duster in the next trailer.

Y'know, that's pretty cold man. You could have given one of the young, hungry guys a chance to go through that stuff and taken his money rather than the scrap yard's. What a waste.

How long should I keep this stuff. I welcomed all. Some showed and some parts were taken. So how cold am I. I am not leaving this mess for my wife when I'm cold in the ground. I usually give things to buyers for free that show up with money. If I would say free parts you would all show up and take it to resell as yourself.

I posted pics of whats here in a thread a while back. There is just more then I or my son need for the cars we have. I am tired of storing it all. I have some of this stuff since the 70's .

Just gave all the 72-76 fenders to a young gun 7 fenders $50.00 for all. If I would post cheap prices like that on here then it would all go to those who are not in need. But want to resell.

If some one drives here and asks for one trans I know they need it for them self. Not to rebuild and sell. I am 58 and dealing with the Mopar crowd a long time. LOL Steve.

So, what you're saying is that it's better this stuff goes to the scrapper than to somebody who may resell it. Makes perfect sense to me!
 
old mopar man i feel ur pain,,,selling is a pain,,,but let me rack your brain for a minute,, im looking for a needle in a big hay stack,,, im looking for an odd ball timing cover from a early 318 poly motor, out of a truck,,,has giant ears on it,,raises the water pump higher the normal., ide come get and hand you MONEY,,,, thanks for your time
 
I don't have one but there is a closed yard near me with mopars in windgap pa. that may have one. There is also 2 65 fish there one is a 4spd S with a factory tach on the left side of the dash. I took the rockers and push rods. The car otherwise is complete. These cars are all sitting on slate so they are pretty rust free for pa. junk. I took all the later (A) stuff because That is what I was into back in the day. I remember seeing the cover your talking about on a big truck but don't remember what yard. hey Steve you have every right to do whatever you want with your property.Noone has any right to try to force you in any shape or form.All these self righteous cheap talking guys need to go out and buy a bunch of cars and start giving them away just like they expect you to do.Talk is cheap it takes money to buy parts and cars.
 
I understand about greed and as long as there are people, greed is their driving factor and they would bend over their mother, father, sister, brother, neighbor, lifelong friend to make a buck, there are true people in need of parts that are in the low income category and can't afford to buy parts from the big buck catalogs and just want to enjoy their ol mope. It is a shame when OLD parts go to a scrap yard, those are pieces of history. When history is gone, it is gone. Some of the most generous people are Mope people. I myself have given away and been given because it can be put to good use. Maybe some lucky Mope Fan will come across those parts and put them to use.

If you are referring to me in that post, I think you've got the wrong idea. I make my living dealing in Mopar parts. I buy and part cars, piles of parts..scour scrap yards, junk yards and classifieds 7 days and nights a week. I put my money where my mouth is.
I very often cut deals and extend credit to guys just starting out, or ones that I know are having a difficult time, and I would NEVER consider scrapping something that I know somebody could use, whether I lost money on it or not.
 
I am referring to anyone that has the opinion of forcing another person to give or reduce prices on any parts.I am older than Steve and have seen a bunch of so called "hobbyists" try to use it to get free/reduced price/help.It may be a hobby to one but to another-it's a living.

The scrap yard pays by weight they don't get it for free. I have done what you are doing . Its time for me to move on. I have offered the swinger that is here to several who need parts. No hits so Looks like it to is going in for weight.

I had someone that wanted the grille and rims. no damage. So I took it out. One broken tab. the price was $50 . They came here for it and passed. They won't be offered any more parts and I drove the grille over with the excavator.

I am sick of assholes coming here and I still treat them nice. That's just me . But I won't ever let them back. Not even for a bolt.

Then there are the guys that ask for a part. You dig it out give them a killer price and they say they will get it next time. They don't realize there will never be a next time for them. Don't waste my time.

I have a list of 340 cars that are sitting in Pa and NJ. I have just lost interest in parting them. Once I finish my two a bodies I am moving on to something different.

And yes I would rather junk my stuff then give it away for free.

Fine, than put your money where your mouth is, my friend. Let's calculate the weight of what you have to sell, figure it by the current price of scrap, and I will give you one dollar more.
By your own words, that should be an acceptable deal. You're not a hypocrite, are you?
