**for a fair comparison I weighed the stock and HDK lower control arms w/ sway bar mounts.

The HDK K-frame has sway bar mounts, but the stock assy did not.
 
Those K-frame pics are rather crappy quality (cell phone pics) so here's a
couple of close-ups to show the quality. All pieces are tabbed and slotted.

Nice looking parts Denny. What is the intented purpose of your parts? Do you have any graphs of camber gain, roll center height, or bumpsteer?

some 20 years ago, my intent was to get rid of the steering box to allow room for a Hemi in a A body.

The intent is still pretty much the same as when I started, Eliminate the bulky, worn out, 40-plus year old steering box with rear steer linkage and replace with a modern, compact, off the shelf, rack and pinion assembly. Also remove/replace the torsion bars to gain room for almost any exhaust you can imagine. And shed a few pounds along the way.

here is the tricky part, for me anyways.

no welding or cutting....100% bolt-on pieces

no exotic ($$$$) parts

use the existing upper control arm attaching points. This somewhat limits what you can do with roll center, however, it can be tuned/improved with extended upper ball joints. Further difficulty arises because of the simple fact hardly any two cars sit at the same ride height.

keep the front wheel / tire combo tucked into the front fenderwell for turning clearance and a better look

sorry..no graphs at this point. gotta put that one on top of the list. There are some pics on another thread showing camber gain thru-out travel.....it is virtually zero, however, due to the upper arm being shorter than the lower arm, there is naturally going to be some camber gain at full compression.
 
Wouldn't mind having one just for the gorgeous welds!!!

Not gonna take anything away from Bill,but, I gotta say Denny that this is alot more visually appealing even without the price savings. It has looks that to me instill more confidence.
 
I've checked out some other setups that looked decent but I
think this one looks like the most thoughtfully engineered and
constructed.

I also want to be able to run decent sized front tires and have
them tucked up into the front fenders.

When it comes time for me to "get busy", it will be a HemiDenny
K-Frame for me.

Denny, Great looking stuff! Have motor mounts for a Gen 3 hemi?

just finishing new perches that will allow the same K to be used for your favorite Mopar powertrain....small blocks to big blocks to new gen Hemi.. ALL the SAME K

just change out the Schumaker Creative Services spool mounts exclusively produced for the HDK.(est...$159/pr)

I have built several proto-type new gen Hemi mounts and the production piece should be finished in 30 days. The small block and big block mounts are done and just starting production.
