Check out the guys ebay store in the first link, hes got some pretty old and cool intakes for just about everything.

The 1-barrel that fits onto a 4-barrel intake is made for those hemi E-body owners that can't afford the parts for their car, so they can use an old /6 air cleaner until they muster enough money for the "correct" hemi cleaner.

i finger ill be the first to say hope your knee gets better because your obviously loosing yoru mind if your digging that deep into ebay...

LOL, **** you should see half the crap I dug up on youtube.com (try typing in "stupid people" or "punch in the face"). Heres a list of things I have been doing for the last week and what I will continue doing for atleast another week.
Looking up stupid stuff on the interweb.

Tracking down info on 518's so I can drop one in my 53 Merc pick up (when ever I will get a chance to work on it again).

Trying to find the best deal on a new set of small bolt pattern rotors for a 72 scamp with K.H. disks. (cheapest so far is $120 + shipping from canada on ebay)

Sleeping

Hurting

Taking drugs (Percocet and oxycontin are very bad if you take too much).

Playing my PS2 (Beat God of War in 1 1/2 days)

Watching TV

I got yelled at by my girlfriend cause she caught me trying to clean my garage yesterday when she came home early.

KNEE SURGERY SUCKS!!!!!! I WANT TO GO BACK TO WORK!!!!!!!!

Thats what I tried to tell her but she just pointed out the fact that I have my left leg in a full brace that is locked streight, Im on crutches, and theres a 4 inch insision thats tring to heal. She won that argument.
I haven't worked on a car for a week and the last thing I worked on was a Mazda, THIS SUCKS!!!

The thing about Ebay is that one man's junk is another man's treasure. I have sold a lot on Ebay and believe me it's better than dragging your parts from Swap Meet to Swap Meet. This way gimps like you and me can still shop from our computers - be glad you still have your leg, I don't.

So far this is the only thing I have found on the Woodworth carbs. It's bugging the hell out of me that I can't find any real good info on these things. I don't know why Im hung up on this but I figure what the hell I don't have anything better to do.

1. It’s a bold company that spends nearly eight years improving a
product that may not be around 20 years from now. But that’s
what the Vacuum Carburetor Corp. of san Antonio, Texas, has
done. The firm has developed a new vacuum-controlled
constant-velocity carburetor, better known as the Econo Carb,
which its maker says offers several advantages over ordinary
carburetors – including 25 per cant better gasoline mileage,
improved engine performance and easier starting. The device
which has only 54 parts compared with some 300 in regular
carburetors, has no choke or accelerator pump – and therefore
cannot flood. The device constantly adjusts the mix of fuel and
air in the manifold, which regular carburetors with fixed mixes
cannot do. “When your engine demands fuel, it will give it just enough to do the job,” says Frank Greene, president of Vacuum
Carburetor. “It’s the same concept as a cruise control.”

2. The vacuum carburetor is not a new idea – some of the earliest
carburetors (in the 1920s and 1930s) were vacuum-type. Al
Woodworth, Californian, invented a modern vacuum carburetor
several years ago; what Vacuum Carburetor has done is modify
Woodworth’s creation, mainly by adding a fuel-injection “coldstart”
mechanism that, the company claims, helps the engine turn
over immediately in frigid weather.

3. Though the Econo Carb has been on sale for less than a year, it’s
already being used by municipal car, truck and cab fleets in
Nashville, Denver and San Antonio. What’s more, Saudi Arabia,
China and Denmark are interested in importing the device.
William Moreton, an executive at Vacuum Carburetor’s
production plant in Kansas, says the Econo carb’s natural market
is as a replacement for existing carburetors, especially in V-6 and V-8 engines.

Kinda reminds me of the old ford varible venturi carb from the mid-80s.

Those things are like the predator carb that came out in the late 70's early 80's. The predator carb bragged about the same features. I ran Stage 1 Buick's at the time and took off my 800 Holley and tried a predator carb because it was about 1,000 cfm. In a word it sucked, my ET's were about the same but lost about 5 mph thru the lights. They brag about not needed a choke and I will tell you they are a bear to start in cold weather without a choke and accelerator pump. I switched back to my Holley and was much happier.

I have a 1947 Ford truck flathead and was thinking about slapping 2 of these on it just to be different.

This carb should be bought by every one,as this is basis on how a variable ventury carb is built on as well as the predator carb, read about the carb and learn, mrmopartech

I spent all of last July recovering myself. Fortunately I had orthoscopic, NOT a 4" incision. I wish you a speedy recovery!

I haven't priced K-H rotors but there's a guy who goes by the handle "newlancerman" on the slant six board and he found a source a couple of years ago for some considerably cheaper.

Well I'm not sure what they are calling "regular carburetors" but I've rebuilt at least 100 carbs of different varietys and few have anywhere close to that many parts. The Carter AFB probably don't have many more than 50 at most. Also I noticed you say they state "it has no choke or accelerator pump and therefore cannot flood out". I can see the choke acting up causing a flooded condition but usually an accellerator pump only causes flooding when the accellerator pedal is pumped too much when the engine is shut off so that is not to be considered a part error but human error. Also what about the float and needle and seat? Doesn't this carb have them? If so it can flood out. The needle and seat are usually more likely to cause problems flooding from dirt/debris getting in them than anything else. Like Chuck said they look like the predators that also made the same claims. I also tried to tune a predator on a 350 Chevy pulling truck for a guy and had no better results with it as far as power than a 650 Holley. And it was extremely cold natured. Ford experimented with the variable venturi carb for a couple yrs. but it apparently wasn't successful cause they went back to the regular Motorcraft 2 barrels before finally going to fuel injection.
