Very Nice. Now you are insulting our friends to the North. Stop the name calling. We try to stay as pleasant with each other as possible here. Relax. I don't know about the rest of you, but I will never open a thread started by 68cuda416 again.Yay!!!!! Home of basement dwellers and socialists........

Why must you be...such an angry young man...when the future looks quite bright to me...
Name the band and the song....
Wow, your ignorance precedes you.!How is speaking the truth an insult?.......are they not a socialist country? Since their emperor has had them on lockdown for the last year plus the people that I know that live in Canada all tell me that they basically live out of their basement......
Is that living room hardwood floors, carpet, or dog hair n' cigarette butts? Not us. We have patio furniture in the living room.

I just wanna know what pajamas to bring to the sleepover.
I have lived on the Canadien Border for a great many years, I have played more hockey on the northern side of that line than I care to admit. I have so many life long friends there I could not count them. As a US Marine I am as Merican as they come! My roots are in Deep South. My dog sheds like a maniac and I am a fashion icon, see picture. I can have a toddy or two and sleep on the floor with the cats at Robs place wearing my bunny slippers! In similar fashion there have been more FABO guys in my shop than I can name. Once this post started brushing a entire nation with untrues it bordered on silly. I stepped away. Like so many previous posts have explained this is just not the place for that kind of stuff. Move on young Sir. And let’s see some pix of your car, she sounds like a beauty.

So IF the 'damage' occurred during shipping, he has every right to suggest that you contact the shipper for satisfaction. As for the misunderstanding between the two of you over the definition of 'restored', I would say that you share equally with the result of the transaction. It doesn't sound to me like he deserves to be called stupid.
Yep, just a bit North of Fargo. Winnipeg is our nearest big city for shopping entertainment etc.You in the Fargo area? The wife and i LOVED that UFO/aliens restaurant! It was like Pizza Planet!

Never expect a perfect restored grille for $300. In my opinion, your best bet is to buy used as cheap as possible, then send it to someone who restores grilles. That way the job gets done right, and if you're not happy with the restoration, have them correct any flaws you see before payment.I bought a " restored " grille for a '68 Dodge Dart GTS off of a member here a couple weeks ago and received it yesterday.......well ofcourse the little grill sections are broken on it all across the top, not sure if the drooling gorillas in the shipping industry did it or it was already liked that. Secondly when i consider something restored I am thinking it is restored back to the way it came from the factory and not whatever color or texture or lack thereof of paint quality.......has smooth silver paint instead of a textured feel argent, the black paint is not crisp and it just was put on all willy nilly like maybe Ray Charles did it. I really should not be surprised because in general people dissapoint and in all honesty I think most people either wouldn't care or are too stupid to notice that the grille is a huge POS!!!!!
You are correct, but the seller could have stated it as an amateur attempt also......oh well water under the bridge now. I will send a couple grilles and bezel sets out and get them professionally restored as that is the quality that I want for my cars, I just went through this same thing again a couple days ago with a restored steering wheel that was supposedly done by an expert that only does wheels.......it too is a POS and I will have to send that out to an actual professional and not someone who views themselves as such.Never expect a perfect restored grille for $300. I feel for you brother. We sound alike. I am meticulous and like things to be to perfection. I don't like buying things before seeing them with my own eyes. Online sellers know what a hassle buyers have to go through when they're not happy, so they don't care, they know it's a done deal once they're paid. You are correct, but the seller could have stated it as an amateur attempt also......oh well water under the bridge now. I don't have a Facebook account for a reason. This reminds me of an internet date I had, got to the bar area of the restaurant and she was sitting behind the high top table facing me. She was gorgeous looking with a nice chest. Only when she got up to get seated did the bubble butt that was HUGE show itself! Lesson being, always get a detailed description and a lot of high resolution pictures. It cost me dinner and drinks…at least you got something out of it!
Yeah I overpaid for a grille that I still have to send out and pay the shipping and the restoration costs on......not impressed and not happyThis reminds me of an internet date I had, got to the bar area of the restaurant and she was sitting behind the high top table facing me.
