That is going to pull good.
I would like to see the print-out from 2000 rpm, where real street motors operate.

Okay so they're here. I ordered the TTI headers from Indy Cylinder Head and they were here in 2 days. Here are some of the last pictures you're gonna see of the engine out of the car.

Well...now you have some more work to do.

Can't wait to see it in the car!
Yes I do. We have most of the engine compartment ready to go but I still have to notch the K member for oil pan clearance. We also have to service the transmission but we are close.

I just read 12 pages
Great build, the car is going to run awesome.
good luck with install

Well we'll go a lot accomplished yesterday. Larry and I were out in the garage from 10:00 AM until 1:30 AM. We prepped the engine for installation and moved everything out of the way because this SOB was going in no matter what. We got the engine in the car, adjusted the clutches and line pressure on the 727 and installed and installed the headers (thank God for lifts) at which point we realized that a lot of the brake line work we did would have to be rearranged ARGH. We got that done and we also had to remove (again) the steering column so we could get my $800.00 headers in without scratching them (sure sounds easy on the instructions). Anyway we still have exhaust to connect, radiator, wiring and oil cooler/ transmission cooler install but we are getting close. This thread has been going since September 1rst and while I really enjoy posting stuff for you guys I CANT Wait for this to end. Enjoy the pictures.

Well I just ordered a universal fan should kit from Summit Racing. It's amazing how everytime I buy something I manage to get the orphan part. I have a Champion aluminum radiator in my car and I wanted to buy a shroud. Turns out that even the "universal" shrouds will need modified LOL. My rad core is 21 X 17.5 and no one has an exact fit. Par for the course.

I have heard the factory 22" shroud will fit with minor modifications.

Everything is good, just not enough time to finish my projects.
I bought another car project, my wife is proud of me.

I bought this....
[SOLD] - PARTING 72-74 Cuda drag car project

I have the parts to put it together, just need to scrounge up a power train, and time to do anything with it.
Have not really even looked at it much yet, it was delivered in a snow storm and covered up.

Way to go man, Any Cuda is cool as hell, CONGRATS! Are you keeping it as a drag car or are you going to try to return it to the street?

I don’t know what to do with it yet.
I am at least going to put it together.
I have another complete but rusty frame/floorpan Cuda’ for the sheetmetal and interior.

Okay,
So I've got another hurtle to overcome. It seems that a wire coming from the case of my 2000 Dodge Ram mini starter is very close to touching my $800.00 TTI headers. Has anyone experienced this? Right now the only solution we can come up with is to put a piece of exhaust wrap around the header tube where it's close (TTI says not to use wrap on theses headers but I don't have any other solution) any ideas would be appreciated.

Instead of wrapping tubes you could try putting spark plug wire heat sleave protectors over the wires. That is how mine is.

It's just the short cable that comes out of the solenoid (I guess) and then goes right back into the starter case. I am on a plane traveling home I will try to get a few pics later today. Thanks for responding!

Well we spent the day today finishing up interior wiring. I also bought the Chevy HHR fan. We had to do several modifications. We cut the plastic from around the motor. Cut the tabs off of the sides. Spaced the motor forward about a quarter of an inch and we had to counter sink the pulley and water pump and use Allen head screws. But it's in there and looks great. Here are the pictures
