Is the top pic of the leds? I hope so lol. If you have any issues with the phillips i buy all my leds from diode dynamics, hopefully they serve you well, glad you decided to go with the red leds as they allow more light to be transmitted through the red lens. If the flasher doesnt work you may need to wire in load resistors

Finally got my new gauges installed in the car and took it out a few times to test them out and do a bit of programming.

The Classic Dash panel fits great with just a tiny bit of tweaking, same for their matching column cover which was included with the panel. Everything went together real nice.

Very happy with the Speedhut guages. The GPS Speedo is dead on accurate. Up here in Canada I went with the metric version, which also has the high beam and signal LEDs built in to the face. It has a digital screen that displays stuff like Odometer, elevation, direction, peak speed, 0-60 time/distance and 1/4 mile (400 meters actually) time and trap speed. Can't wait to give those last 2 a try, in a safe location of course.

The Tach has built in programmable shift LEDs, displays peak RPM etc.

I also manually calibrated the gas gauge to my aftermarket sender; set it up so "E" leaves me about 10 liters (2-3 gallons) in the tank for reserve. Finally an accurate gas gauge!

Totally happy with this upgrade!

Well... I had to pull the heads off the old 1977 Dodge D150 Warlock 360 and have them freshened up... All back together and ready for some more Road Kill !!!!!!!!!! Big Dog on the Block !!!!!

Was gonna do a little under dash work while installing the Led flasher. Replace speedometer, turn cancel lob, dash vents and dash pad. Found Previous owner “wiring repair” that calls for further inspection. Nice to have a known working spare harness.

Getting a little closer. Still lots to do though! I made that sign and put it in the car the day that I tore it down to put it on the rotisserie. I also made a duplicate that hangs in front of the beer fridge, just to keep myself in check.
LOL

I think I'll crack one now!

Hellwig sway bar installed. Such an easy install. Looks good IMO.

Found one little leak on brake caliper. Tightened that up. Stainless steel lines are ***** sometimes. Praying that does the trick.

Got a photo from powder coat guy, the color looks different than it did on their website, but it’s no concourse job, so I don’t care.

Wired manual choke open on new carb. No need for it where I live.

Trying to decide on which caps I like better. Original 68 caps or the 69 redlines. :steering:

Trying to remember where this ground wire goes. I’m thinking it goes from the steering column bracket to the dash? Anyone recall???

Poormans alignment. First timer but everything passes the eyeball test. I’m sure it’s not perfect but it’ll get me down the road until I get it into a proper alignment rack. Have researched some DIY tools but haven’t pulled the trigger.

Set my ride height. Did the string line around all fours. Then devised a straight edge on the rim with magnets. Used an manual angle finder but forgot I had my digital angle finder that I use for my table saw. From the looks of it I have the camber at 2* on the drivers side. Got 1.4* on the passenger side. I have not figured out the Caster. Will do that on a proper rack. Eyeballed the toe in at 1/8”. I’m looking forward the seeing how close or how far the actual numbers are on the rack. These were just initial measurements to get a feel for adjusting things.

On the sway bar the QA1 strut rods are a little thick. I believe I need to extend the end-link sleeves by 1/2-1” to clear the sway bar end. Opinions on this please. Sleeves aren’t straight up and down either and I’m not sure if I can do much about it either because of the L- brackets supplied by Hellwig.
