Starting assembly of my K-Member while car is in the bodyshop.
Car was originally a 273 car now a 318. I assume they are the original manifolds. I did a leak test and it's mostly coming from driver side nearest the fire wall. I started spraying the nuts and bolts with pb blaster for now.Pull the manifold, inspect the sealing surfaces, they usually leak at the center 2 ports, slightly warped manifold. Have it machined straight and true, new gaskets and good to go again.
On a second thought if you have the flat flange 340 style manifold it is easy for them to blow that gasket out at the manifold to the exhaust pipe.
Other style bell flange manifolds are easier to keep sealed, just got to keep them tight.

My flat flange gasket blew out, now it won't keep one in there for more than 20 miles. Not sure but that could be one of those Flat Flange driver's side exhaust manifolds. Otherwise if it is a Bell Flange it could just be loose too.

I tightened up the nuts nearest the largest leak. One was nearly 2 full turns loose. Went for a drive afterwards and was pleased to not have exhaust gases coming into the cockpit for the first time ever since I’ve had it.Not sure but that could be one of those Flat Flange driver's side exhaust manifolds. Otherwise if it is a Bell Flange it could just be loose too.

Been putting the side glass in the past couple days. Put the grill and some trim on today. Starting to look like a car. I want to thank all the guys who I bought parts from and the guys who bought parts from me to make this possible, and FABO.

I'm facing the same thing, took it off the door glass and still have the rear side glass and back glass to do.I didn't bother with the pictures because they just didn't show it, but someone please remind me to not buy another car with old window tint. Just finished removing 20+ year old window tint from all the door and quarter glass. Took a fair amount of time, once I figured out how to do it easiest. Man what a workout. Still have the glass bowl in back to do. Can you see the lines? That's the seems in the tint film. Nothing like old glue.

It’s a *****! All I can say is get a small razor blade holder and change the blades frequently. Sprayed it down with windex and added ammonia. Worked pretty well!I'm facing the same thing, took it off the door glass and still have the rear side glass and back glass to do.
