What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Went out to garage tonight, grabbed a couple of cold ones (maybe more) started pulling some stuff off engine. Looking at putting in a Borgesons steering gear this winter. 24 degree's outside had garage about 70, had some tunes on. Honestly I didn't really do much out there, just seemed like a good time to be in man cave :)

Drive shaft for Victoria is dun ! Did it yesterday at my friends shop .
Now to fill transmission with fluid and install starter and bolt up headers

Racing season is over and the Dart doesn't really need anything for next year besides maintenance, going to finish my spare/back up motor and spare trans. for next year. Ordered some parts from Summit yesterday to " dress up" under the hood of my D150 as I have been putting it in a few shows and doing some cruise nights lately. Got third place in the 2WD class at a Truckfest/Show a few weeks ago.

It’s resting in the hauler with a bucket of charcoal and it’s snuggly blanket. Christmas lights from the attic for staging takes precedence!

Just pulled her out if the garage and drove to lunch with the wife, and then on to work.
One last drive before I start my 904 to A500 swap. And yep that white stuff on the ground is snow still left from earlier in the week.
Hopefully have it up on stands and the 904 out tomorrow.

Put the winter tires on, N-50×14s

(Ok, so they aren't winter tires, but the drag radials that were on there were getting bald, and this way I can bring the rims in if I come across some good black Friday deals)

Gas tank time. Now on to the lines. On the other side, I’m still looking for about a foot of crossmember to graft in so I can get rid of the rot and get the floor pan in.

Yay, Done rebuilding the Dominator....knew those Chick-Fil-A salad bowls I saved would come in handy for something...labeled em to keep the metering plates, jets, fuel bowls, power valves etc. separated by location. Hopefully when I put it back on tomorrow it still works Ha Ha Ha!

Beautiful 75 degree day here in the Great State of Texas.....Tomorrow's supposed to be in the 20's-----WTF!

Went on the longest drive since I’ve had the ‘66, about 20 miles round trip. Into downtown KC MO. First pic from there looking at Kansas City KS. Then at the Sauer Castle, supposedly haunted, then back to home. This morning ice and snow.
 
Here in the Arizona Desert car events are in High Gear... I'm cleaning/waxing the Ol'cuda for Veterans Day !!! This picture was just a fun shot in the cuda room... While I was tweaking the cleaning ( if there is such a thing ). :)

Well you keep that crap North of the Red River, it's 26 down here ....just as I get done sending big $$$ to the electric company to keep the house cool, now I can start sending big $$$ to the gas co to keep it warm....Ha Ha Ha!

Record cold for us sissies down South here! Cold and windy, I am a shade tree mechanic and that big ole pine is only bout 2 foot wide (dbh), knocks off very little wind. Low tonight will be 26 and windy.
Mexican coming in the morning to install a new windshield in the 76 Roadrunner. We will see!!!!!
